This team knowingly went into the season with Noah Brown and Dennis Houston as their 2nd and 3rd receivers.

Jerry and Stephen obviously don't care, not even enough to make an effort. So why should we?

They believe they are smarter than everyone else. Wash rinse repeat.

I will always love the Cowboys. But pro football, in general, has lost its luster. The players are nothing more than a bunch of "Deion's" anymore. They will play for any team willing to break the bank for them. There's no loyalty to your team anymore. Give me the days of Tom Landry, Roger Staubach and Texas Stadium back. I'd be happy. I'm sick of the "commercial business" feeling this team now has with its "casino like" stadium aura. We have a snake oil salesman for an owner and players that have no idea what it ONCE meant to wear that star on the helmet. I haven't bought Cowboys merch in years and probably never will again. Give me back the Cowboys I knew as a young child...

Team USA will lose all their games. They’re as bad as the cowboys.

If they lost all their games they wouldn't be in the World Cup. They had to qualify. And they went 7 wins, 4 draws, and 3 loses during qualification. Team USA is at least as good as Mexico. And Mexico has a pretty good team.

The other teams in their World Cup group are England, Wales, and Iran.

I agree they won't beat England. England is top 5 in the world. Play for a draw. Hope for the best.

But Team USA has a higher world ranking than Iran or Wales for a reason. So they have a good chance. And if they can beat them they can get out of group play and advance to the knock out round of 16.

Where has CATCH been? That’s what happened. The 9ers game put me off this team. I’m disgusted watching the same story different year.

Last nights game is t even worth talking about because we all should’ve known this was coming when the front office decided this off-season to get rid of good players and not replace them.

You guys who bought into the addition by subtraction are just the kind of suckers the Jones’s love.

My advice.. Start enjoying your Sunday’s and stop giving this team as much of your time because it’s not worth it and the guys in charge who can actually do something about it have no real interest in winning.

Status quo off-season and now we have to watch a bad football team until January? No thanks. I’ll pass. I’ll give them a quarter or 2 of a game then turn it off after their 15th penalty and mountain of errors they make while also being a gutless franchise / football team.

As an American, I’ll be supporting Team USA. But they haven’t shown anything for 20 years. Basically the Cowboys of international soccer.

I spent 20 years in Dallas and always liked the Cowboys, but never got emotionally invested. My fandom was cauterized by being born in Detroit and growing up a Lions fan. Dallas fans have had it easy compared to Lions fans.

Agreed, only out of being a Cowboys fan am I staying, and it's because I like our players and history. Having never seen success, that's teb only reason I've stayed a fan, along with enjoying this forum and the fact I put the stars on my suit. Though, I told my roommate last night that the real Cowboys died in 1994. The one that won in 96 was a ghost that won one last time. Since then, this is a dead franchise.

This Forum and my long history with the team is the only thing keeping me here.

Man... ive been a fan for 50 years and i soooooooo freakin agree with you. i turned it off last night near the end of the 2nd Q. Ive said Im not gonna subject my heart to this. I might not make it. lol I am so disenchanted by the same trash every year... over and over and over.
It will never change until jones is out. im convinced. each year i hear all of the sunshine and rainbow fans swallowing the koolaid. no way...no more. im of the SHOW ME mind now.

I still enjoy visiting this forum, but I'm in the same boat. Something broke during the 49ers game for me; something that was different from previous years.

I didn't even watch the game last night. I watched a movie with the wife and went to sleep at a decent hour.

I feel bad for my friends at work who were frustrated by last nights performance, and I truly feel bad for everyone here who is also frustrated.

However, if someone still gets enjoyment from watching this team, then good on them.

What's really funny is ODB is still out there. If Dak hadn't gone out there and 1) sacked and 2) gotten injured, there may have been a chance to sign him. Not now though, he's only going to go to a contender and with or without Dak, this team ain't that.

I try to approach things reasonably, without all the emotional deviations. No team is perfect. None.

There are things that I fault this team for, but it may not be what some of you focus on. I am not upset over Tyron being injured and starting a rookie. That sort of thing happens. Good teams find a way to win enough games and improve before playoff time.

Tampa Bay is a super bowl contender. They “big boyed” us a lot like the 49ers did. I can live with the loss. It happens.

Some people are complaining about the lack of quality receivers. I’m not. You can’t have pro bowlers at every position group. I have no problem with getting rid of Amari.

What do I have a problem with? Passing on Creed Humphrey for the rapper. That pisses me off more than anyone can imagine. How much better would this team be if we had drafted Humphrey? Will the rapper ever be a difference maker? Doubtful.

It also pisses me off that McCarthy is seemingly afraid to over rule Moore. More has no idea about how to maximize the running game. He has done a really poor job of scheming receivers open. We have enough talent on offense to not be as anemic as we were last night.

It also pisses me off that we have a $40M bus driver. Dak is NOT elite. He is slow in his decision making process and he routinely throws behind receivers.

By this point, Dak is the veteran QB. He should be a difference maker. Instead he beats up on the weaker teams and wilts against better competition. I think it’s time for the Cowboys to start viewing Dak as part of the problem.

Dak is part of the problem, as he is currently playing. Dak looked completely lost last night the entire game.

They buy the best scouts in the business and for the most part, draft pretty well. Better than most teams. Drafting from the back of the pack limits the quality.
The only way to improve is to tank for 2 or 3 years and completely rebuild.
