Just throwing it out there about what was said about Bledsoe

But hold on.

If Carter was so good, a little competition should not have mattered a bit.

And another thing, you are wrong about Hasselbeck. Dilfer was there for three years.

Competition wasn't what bothered him. Fair play was the problem. How many qbs have been benched for 9 games for a guy who hadn't played football in 4 years, then proceeded to go 2 and 7 with Jerry saying after the season that he stilled liked Hutch's potential and that they were going to go with him next year.. In the first part of 2002,Carter outplayed Steve McNair,Kurt Warner/Jamie Martin and played Kerry Collins dead even. He also threw 7 touchdown in seven games and averaged 209 yards a game passing, whereas Hutch threw 7 downs in 9 games and averaged 170 yards a game with our only wins coming against teams that didn't make the playoffs. He knew that Coslet had Jones' ear and wanted to push him out cause he liked Hutch better, not because he played better.
As for Dilfer, he's no threat to anyone. He's about to be benched in favor of Charlie Frye, he's been so average.

You are obsessed about "fairness".

What about accountability?

You hold everyone but your favorite washout accountable. It is pretty amusing to see. I marvel at your simplicity and consistency.

Maybe because we live in a country where we're taught, in liberty and justice for all is a good thing. As for accountability, we all make mistakes. Most of us want a second or third chance. Kerry Collins, a drunk and quitter keeps getting more chances;Brian Griese, also a drunk and a screw-up has gotten a third chance to start;Ricky Williams, a druggie and quitter is getting more chances;Leonard Little, a drunk who has killed a person gets more chances.
Accountability for some, but not for others certainly isn't fair.

Do you think if Quincy was as highly regarded as a talent as Griese, Collins or Williams he might have gotten his second and third chance?

You need to wake up and realize that no one in the NFL thinks highly of Quincy's talent. Now dont mistake athleticism for talent. Sure he is an athlete, but so are many players who are no longer wanted in the NFL.

And sure enough, he had barely decent game against Giants, actually pretty poor considering he was one the who turned the ball three times against Giants. Then Now Seattle game.

First of all, one of those "Turnovers" was a mishandled snap. Why that is automatically credited to the QB, I don't know. But it sure looked to me like the Center didn't even get teh ball up to Bledsoe.

About yesterday's game... could it have been because a) it was raining? b ) our center and RT played like total arse? c) Our #1 RB is hurt?

I think the biggest problem was the rain. Or is it just a coincidence that Hasselback's numbers were almost identical to Bledsoe's?

Speaking of Quincy, I think I saw him in a Subway commercial. He told a guy to go deep so he could throw him his bag of potato chips. He dropped back....and threw an interception. :laugh2:
