They both wilt under pressure. The lights are just too bright for either one of them. Lets talk about fumbled gimme FG snaps with the game on the line...
Witten had the first down anyway, oh well just wasnt gonna happen.

But that was just the only dumb move Tuna had having the backup QB be the holder instead of the punter.

They may not be happy but they are still gloating with the I told you so crap. Is that necessary? And, how do you know own they aren't? Do you know all of these guys from the troll convention
Yes. We have a great time every year. Do you mean gloating like all the guys that were making call out threads a month ago? Are they rubbing it in the faces of the ones who constantly make personal attacks against anyone who doesn't think Dak walks on water? Yeah. Probably. Doesn't mean they're happy about it.

That Over the Top Chili was great by the way. Too bad I wanted to throw it up by halftime. But yeah, super happy over here.

I root for this team and all of it's players to succeed more then any poster on this forum, but this is now my 3rd January in a row of saying Dak is a huge problem on this team. I get rooting for him, I really do. I was hoping he had 500 yards and 6 tds yesterday. He didn't help this team at all...he can't..he never will be able to lead this team in games we need a big performance.. Is he an awesome human, no doubt, one of the best. Is he also a 4th round QB with limited skills. Yes, he absolutely is. Dak is a 1 check QB who panics when a play doesn't go his way. He doesn't have a calm factor in him like the greats do.

I don't think the game has ever slowed down for him. The DB's are still faster, the linebackers better at coverage and the DT's still too quick. I get your agenda of why not root for him. That's how I feel about every player who wears the star, but at some point we HAVE to move on from him or I will be coping and pasting this exact same post next January. It's time to draft a QB early with real upside.
True....so our defense gets a pass? CeeDee being a diva gets a pass?

Dak has lost two wild card games at home also

His predecessor (the choker) lost one on the road
It really is an unfair comparison because Romo got the choker label after 1 playoff game in which he had is in the game through out and led us to the Red zone with under 3 minutes left and had us set up to take the lead with that FG. Every playoff game Romo played we were in it till the end except that Vikings debacle. With Dak, the only games we had a realistic shot was the 2 he won against the Seahawks and buccaneers. Every other playoff game is a carbon copy, start out slow and constant 3 and outs and turnovers and when we go down by at least 14, get stats against prevent defense in the 4th and make it look "close". Go back and watch every game and that's exactly how it went down even in 2016, it was over by halftime.

DO NOT EXTEND

Nice guy
Maybe a good leader
Great behind the mic at not saying anything dumb

Slow to read and react
Ball is not accurate most the time
Crumbles under pressure

He won't be able to lead the team to a Super Bowl if he is the driving force. If his cap number was minimal, sure he might if you stacked the team around him. Paying him top 5 money only ends in failure.

For merely voicing concerns about Dak, these people are called "haters", "Trolls", "bigots" and worse, all day, every day.
For merely having a different opinion and not slugging the kool aid.
And yesterday, for all the world to see, everything they were saying came to fruition in the most embarassing playoff loss in team history.

Of course they are gloating after being treated like that and being proven right. You going to tell me you wouldn't be gloating if someone told you Dak would choke and he balled out yesterday?

Maybe if the Dak Davidians could have a legit and respectful debate without resorting to gang shaming anyone who dares criticize their dear leader, the culture on this forum wouldn't be in the toilet right now. But they can't. And because of that, they deserve to be eating it right now. They demanded that everyone kneel and give thanks at Dak's altar and frankly, they look like absolute fools right now. They get what they get. No sympathy for them whatsoever, they put their pet above the team and enough is enough.

When did I say that? This is a Dak thread. That's the biggest issue is nobody gets a pass from yesterday, but to be fair this is the first time Lamb and this defense let us down in a playoff game. This is Daks like 4th time doing it. I'd also argue the defense gave up after they saw Dak score 14 points in the 1st half for the Packers.

350 of it in garbage time in the 2nd half
You could see Dak's eyes light up when Lafleur pulled the starters and played prevent lol
He literally said "we got it going late a little bit" in his press conference as if everyone didn't know that was the Packers game plan to give him his yards in exchange for game clock lol

Well the past two playoff losses haven't been competitive games. Yesterday was a team loss and I felt the same way last year. Defense has to either get stops or force turnovers in the playoffs and they did neither two years in a row.

I voice concern as well. I just don't beat it to death and focus everything on one player and I sure as hell don't go around saying, I told you so. Those are the trolls in my eyes. I dealt with idiot fans all my career....I can't stand them.

it's not just that they argued with you, that's the reason for this forum

it's that they malign you, attack your character, your fanhood, call you a "hater", "Troll", imply (or sometimes outright state) that your motives for criticizing Dak have to do with his skin color as opposed to his play, you name it, think of the worst things you can say about someone, they've said it about people who criticize Dak,

ANd they've said it ad nauseum, for days/weeks/months/years.

And you are right, now that it's time to answer for their words, they are basically all in hiding.
No wonder they love Dak. No accountability. He's their supreme leader. LOL
Both sides have been equally nauseating let’s be fair. The “dak is the best quarterback in the league crowd” and the “dak sucks” crowd. I said this all year, but both sides consistently making threads is annoying.

Blah, balh, blah. I've heard these same excuses for Romo the choke artist for many years. That FG fumble wasn't his only choke job. He choked for the rest of his career. The Denver game is a great summary of his entire career - play great until the moment of truth then blow it big time.

It's better than constantly wanting to see him fail. The haters are still celebrating with the I told you so crap. They are happy that we lost so they can gloat. True fans!! :muttley: :muttley:
Stop with the nonsense already. No one is happy and no one is celebrating. If anyone is celebrating it's you because now you have the opportunity to be an arse like you always are in these situations.

He's now 2-5 in the playoffs.

That's the worst postseason record in NFL History for any QB that has started at least 5 games.
This is the problem with thus stat......the defense gave up 41 points.

They didn't stop anything until they put the backup in there.

dak obviously had his issues but the team suvked around him.

I agree with that. Just tucks me off thay some of these idiots thay were in hiding come out of the sewer and now can't shut up....Dak was horrible, but isn't the only one to blame.
Many wanted Quinn to replace MM.....lol
I admit to being wrong in thinking Quinn might have been the man in the wings if MM failed. Boy was I wrong. Not that I wanted MM to fail or thought he should be replaced, but I figured Quinn would be a good backup option. I was so wrong. His scheme decisions in the Packers game were inexcusable and inexplicable.

Yeah, Dak was horrible and so was the rest of the team. But since we won't get the full purge the team needs, we should do expert trimming. Who uses the most cap with the least results in the playoffs? Dak is one of the players on that list. He's far from the only one.
Jerry won't do the needed trimming though.

We can live in fantasy land or we can live in reality.

Fact is that stat shows our QB doesn't play his best when the team needs him the most.

That's a problem.
Nobody is arguing that but ignoring that the whole team doesn’t perform its best in favor of Dak slander is where the disconnect is but sure if Dak played well. Dak could’ve scored 50 points yesterday and the Packers would’ve scored 51….im all for moving on from Dak. Then we will win a SB right?

Having played football I will say one thing. I played defensive end on a team one time and our defense was great our offense was TERRIBLE. I mean absolute dog poo. If they got a 1st down we were cheering. We'd lose games like 10-0 type stuff. It was brutal. I remember one game where on like the 1st play of the game our offense fumbled it. We all groaned and you could just tell our entire defense just gave up. Our defensive coaches were all pissed at us at practice the next week, and of course we all then felt like we let the team down.

What point am I trying to make..although these guys make millions playing a game, I do think that in football one side of the ball can completely demoralize the other. These people are humans, there is no way after Dak gives up a pick 6 to make it 27-0 the defense thinks that if they step up we can win..if Dak doesn't throw his 2 interceptions in the 1st half there is a legit chance the score is 7-13 at half. Then the defense probably stays hungry.
