This is the problem with thus stat......the defense gave up 41 points.

They didn't stop anything until they put the backup in there.

dak obviously had his issues but the team suvked around him.
And the only reason we have up 41 is because the Packers let their foot off the gas and brought in back ups. This really could’ve been a 70 point beat down.

Yesterday was the definition of a team loss. You don't end up in a 27-0 hole in the 2nd quarter without a lot of things going wrong.

Nobody is arguing that but ignoring that the whole team doesn’t perform its best in favor of Dak slander is where the disconnect is but sure if Dak played well. Dak could’ve scored 50 points yesterday and the Packers would’ve scored 51….im all for moving on from Dak. Then we will win a SB right?
Most likely not but doing the same thing for almost a decade with Dak has given us the same results as with the decade before that.

We need a fresh start whether it be good or bad.

If no one is ignoring that, then why the *** would you then spend your time (and then more money) trying to justify bringing him back?

The QB fails in big spots. Why would I want that guy back at what will have to involve a massive extension that handcuffs the franchise for a few more years?

Yeah, the LBs suck and got abused yesterday. We need big changes there. Our DTs are horrible against the run. We need an organizational change in how we approach DT.

But none of that changes the fact our QB has now shown repeatedly that big games are often too much for him to handle. The QB is the most influential player on the field. If your guy isn't good enough, has proven time and time again he's just not good enough, he's a massive chunk of your cap why the hell would you then worry about how our cheaply paid LBs also suck?

It's just excuse making, cover, rationalizations to keep yourself from admitting what's becoming, sadly, very clear. Dak isn't good enough and the Cowboys might be wise in figuring out a way to end that relationship.

It's better than constantly wanting to see him fail. The haters are still celebrating with the I told you so crap. They are happy that we lost so they can gloat. True fans!! :muttley: :muttley:

If Dak had an amazing game, balled out, but still lost then the tune around here would be much much different.

The whole team was a letdown yesterday but the so called leader of this team and also the highest paid just absolutely wilted and became a shell. As teammates that look up to him or need motivation in a do or die game, what does that do to them?

He just sat there on the bench and moped with that deer in the headlight look. I expected much more of him but he’s an azz leader when the team needs him the most.

Stop with the nonsense already. No one is happy and no one is celebrating. If anyone is celebrating it's you because now you have the opportunity to be an arse like you always are in these situations.
In this situation yes....but you're and arse year round....

Aikman 7-0 2 SBs 1 SB MVP during his first 7 playoff starts.

Yet for some Dak’s fans… Dak carries his teams while Aikman was a bus driver.
Aikman the jag bus driver with poor arm strength and not very accurate according to some on this site like the present QB held back by the low tier players and poor coaches he has to play with.

Well having the greatest offensive line in the history of the NFL and Emmitt/Irvin didn’t help Troy much I see. You hate Dak I get it but Troy had the best team of the 90s. Let’s stop comparing.
