I'll give the old bat some credit. He is a better actor than he is an owner. At least he admits that his runts are running all of his businesses. Maybe John Hamm and Billy Bob Thornton will buy the team from him? I have to admit this made me want to order from Skip The Dishes though. If he is genuine, his goal in life is to work with his kids....working with them to condemn this franchise though

Hes been playing the role of a football guy for 30 years. He's a seasoned actor.

I really like the Landman. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Jerry giving his cameo performance lol. And I actually believe him.

Problem is, it's not exactly the best thing for the Cowboys anymore. The guy (and his son) need to get out of day to day football operations. Unfortunately that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

Strange timing. I just started watching this weekend, couldn’t sleep last night and finally got to that scene.

Good show, but Thornton makes the entire thing by a longshot. He has that Bad Santa attitude that I found to be entertaining.

On Jerry, I’ll take a pass on praise. It infuriated me even more than I already am.

The Dallas Cowboys are an institution, not some playground for him and his kids, and he still sits there and acts as if he has taken over the football world with his ability. Are the kids who claim to run football still actually involved in the other businesses while other GMs are looking at film and learning the league 24/7?

Well gee Jerry I’m happy that you were able to steal our team so you could “hang” with your kids, and then tell the fans that were here long before you were…”too bad, it’s about ME only.”

I’m not supposed to dislike this guy? Ha.

If he would hire Stephen to be an NFL GM, I wonder if he would hire a guy like a Les Snead to handle his land leasing. Why not?

I hate that guy to the point where I can’t even properly root for this team. I’m sure I’ll watch the series again, but I’ll be forwarding past that scene.

It's a scripted show guys.
Jerry has said straight out of his mouth he didn't buy the Cowboys to work with his kids, but for he himself to have an occupation.
I believe he used the words "Hell no" when asked if he bought the Boys for his kids.

It'll be a sad day when Jerry dies. I hope they do a moment of silence at one of the games, so I can go and BOO as loudly as I can during that quiet time. Sorry, not sorry.

He's a great owner. It's the GM part that hurts us all. But I agree. He nailed that role on Landman. My wife was like "wow". I told her he's been acting as a GM for years.

Everything Jerry does is B.S. Sure he wants to work with his kids and who wouldn't when your a billionaire. His passion is the dollar and not the star so don't get sucked into the ole Jerry is just a loving parent routine. He has and still is stealing from a great franchise and he should be ran of out town.

Probably falling on the sword for them for the failure.

I realize it’s a script, but he played himself, and not a word of it seems different than actuality.

If not then fire the kid/s and get someone more qualified in here to run the team. Yeah, it’s about HIM…and part of that is “hanging around” his kids.

Love how the wife gets mentioned twice, as if Jerry is some great loyal husband. Karma is a *****, it ain’t on our side, and I point directly to him for that….for several reasons.
