I guess my fantasy football trade this past week isn't looking too shabby. I traded Justin Blackmon and Tom Brady for Philip Rivers. Dang, I almost feel bad for the guy, not. :D

In all seriousness that's not good regarding Blackmon, just another extremely talented WR who's gonna blow it all away, really sad.

Well say what you want about Dez at least he doesn't have a substance abuse issue.

With that being said obviously Justin suffers from something(s) from his childhood that's led him down this path to self medicate. Hopefully he gets help and not the help that tells him his addiction is down the hall, at the corner, at work etc... He needs to have something's uncovered with the right type of therapy to help him. Good luck Justin. Believe in yourself and know that it's one day at a time and that everyone is pulling for you young man

not to bash on you or anything, it is a nice sentiment and all but it seems silly to write this statement to him as he will never see it.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And the next guy coming down the line is going to be more talented than either of them, etc. Justin Blackmon was not, is not, and will never be more talented than Dez.

Ok

He was a much better college receiver.

Dez only had that go route.

Blackmon destroyed teams all over the field.

If you are arrested or attract attention then the league can intervene to make sure you don't have a substance abuse problem with alcohol in this instance. Typically the first time people are sent to one of the 'gold standard' clinics around the country and one for the NFL is in Chicago. If they say you have a problem then you enter a program and if not then you're still going to get monitored for a time. If you stay free then you get out of being monitored. I don't know all the rules so there is likely to be some variation on this treatment standard.

Cue up Warren Moon

Seriously, Blackmon obviously needs help. He's wasting an opportunity many athletes dream of...

Real talk. He's getting paid millions to play a game and he's blowing a hell of an opportunity. SMH

That's true. They do have a monopoly on sports news channels. With how popular sports are I'm surprised there aren't more channels.

There are. FOX launched their sports news channel in August. NBC started theirs a year ago. I think CBS has one as well.
