Neither really, but I feel like I know what fields is and it’s someone who won’t ever be a good QB but will be fine as a career backup.

I have no idea what Lance will be. He could be a good backup or he could be unemployed in a couple of years.

Fields looked pretty strong the end of last season. Situation where a guy had horrible coaching in career. Don’t know how he will end up but good insurance

I'd have given a 6th for Fields and traded away Dak all day long. Not to say Fields is better, but he's cheaper and has untapped potential. Plus I don't see the narrative changing with Dak. He's good, just not good enough.
