Once his pistol was figured out he couldn't do anything.

Let him play. He won't have success again. He isn't any good.

Agreed. All these Kap fans/apologists are simply clueless when it comes to evaluating a player.
Take away his first 10 games and he shows no ability or patience to read a defense. Too often, he
doesn't progress in his reads... throwing to the first read or tucking and running.

His best games last year came in blowout loses. There were several of them.
"Hey the 49ers lose 40-something to 20 something but Kap had 300 yards, mostly in the 4th quarter."

I will admit I really liked those laser line drive passes that seemed to go on forever. Early on.

Kap is better than Bortles, but that's not saying much. Regardless of your opinion on the national anthem situation, he is better than a few starting QBs and better than 90% of the backups. He should have a job.

That's the interesting part about Jacksonville.

I want Kaepernick to get a job. He deserves it.

He's also better than Bortles and Henne combined.

However, he also wouldn't be so good because of Jacksonville's other problems that will make them a legitimate contender. He'd be good enough to play them out of top draft positioning. They're a 9-7, 8-8 team with Kaepernick at QB,

As much as I would want to personally sign him, if I'm Jacksonville, I actually DON'T sign him. I tank the season and draft one of the top rookie QBs instead - younger and cheaper.
