Kaiir Elam on why things didn't work out in Buffalo

Maybe Elam didn't fit what the Bills do defensively. Every team makes these kinds of mistakes.
Yes every team makes mistakes. You really think the Bills didn't try to put this guy in situations to succeed after sinking a 1st round pick in to him? No sale. I would like him to to amount to something here as long as he is on the roster but I am not counting on it. The sad fact is some guys are better athletes than football players.

Not excuses, maybe you should take him at his word.
You may have taken Lewis and DLaw at their words about Dallas. So it works against other teams as well.
I would remind you that dozens of players have said that about Dallas.

How many about Buffalo?

Buffalo has to be considered a pretty competent organization, currently. Not the best but certainly better than us. So color me skeptical.

But I still approve of giving this guy a try

Why does everything need to be positive? You are a mod, not the thought police. This is what I am thinking at the moment until proven otherwise.
Cheerleaders always have to be positive; even when their team is 0-17

Same here.

At the very least, he's tall, fast, and agile. Should be able to give something to the team.

He started six games as a rookie and even picked off Mahomes in the playoffs. He got hurt his second season and went on injured reserve. When he came back last year the Bills stuck with the guy that replaced him.

You are right about the athlete part, but the Cowboys are still getting a free look at a former first round pick. If he flames out here all they lose is a late pick. The Bills are the big losers here since they are the team that once took him 23rd overall.

Excuses. Don't love it.
Why does everything sound like an excuse the man was saying his perspective is how he felt and he's the one that lived it not you you don't even barely know who this guy is you didn't watch every single play by the way I heard he just couldn't adapt to man he never was a good man to man cover guy but when they adjusted and put him in zone that he played a lot better...

Not every pick is NFL ready not even first rounders he feels he's got more to give and more to learn and he wants to be good and him giving you his truth that he feels is 100% how things went down it's not an excuse he's just explaining his situation...

I'm not saying he's any good but let me remind you of how Sam darnold Baker Mayfield and Geno Smith resurrected their careers there's other players that we don't mention because they're not quarterbacks that have done the same thing they get a second chance somewhere else they get a coach that may be better understands them and maybe he has a shot I'm not saying he's gonna be any good I'm saying stop calling the man a liar and he's making excuses because he's the one that lived it...
