Yes, this kind of loss is painful. But Dallas is a very young team and it took a superhuman performance by an elite QB and significant luck by the Packers to beat them. And even then it went down to the last seconds, and only because of a highlight reel catch. There is a chance this is the closest score the Packers have in the Playoffs this year.
The bottom line for me is that you can’t dig out of a 21-3 hole and the main reason for that is that the team came out flat. Its common for teams to do that when they get the first round bye, you see it every year. And if you think I’m making excuses, I posted that this could happen two weeks ago -

The other major factor was that Rodgers was unconscious and even then, had a lot of luck go his way like his fumble into the RBs hands. Its very, very hard to beat an elite QB that is playing at his best - if you remember the last time Dallas had a playoff game against a top QB on top of his game we lost to Favre and the Vikings by a score of 34-3.
If you want a silver lining, this game from Rodgers is what an elite QB looks like and Dak will look like that as early as next season – and do it for a decade or more.
If you want a historical comparison to this game, the Cowboys went to the playoffs in 1991 in the first year of their dominant 90’s run and lost to the Lions 38-6 (after a Wildcard win). You saw in that team the beginning of a dynasty and you see the same thing today.
So I’m not going to argue over the post mortem and the play of Zeke or Dak or Free or Claiborne.
A very young, very talented Cowboys team went down the wire against a very good Packers team and lost in a game where the last team with the ball was going to win.
Going forward - they will have a ton of cap room to spend on free agents.
They have a ton of young players that will improve next year with their normal development.
They have drafted extremely well for the last four years and will likely get an extra pick(s) for Romo.
It’s a very painful loss, but so was the 1991 playoff loss before we won Super Bowls in three of the next four years.
