Kam is great playing the out and flag routes. He's so tall that qBs misjudge their touch pass and gift him INTs.

He's not going to keep up his level of play much longer-- window is closing on him. Throw in the fact that he isn't the guy that would make us a SB winner, and the opportunity cost is much too high.

It's an incredibly hard position to play, and with the value placed on cornerback it has not been developed at all levels. But it's probably the only non-DL position on defense that can so positively impact an entire defense.

True story - I value Thomas of Revis.

There's one coming out next year that I would be willing to trade way up to get. Like future 1st going up to get. Jalen Ramsey from Florida St. That kid is going to be the next star FS and with the absolute lack of playmaking FS's available I'd pull the trigger. Sadly I doubt even a 2016 1st and 2017 1st would be enough to jump up where he's going to go. I think he goes top 5-10 next season.:(

No
Not the least bit interested in trading picks for a safety

Kam isnt that much better than Church.

Yeah right. Some of you are trippin and are a little too much on Earl Thomas jock. Kam Chancellor is a bad bad man. He would have an Rolando McClain affect. Dude is physical and he's the BOOM in that Legion. Above average coverage skills and he's the emotional leader on the defense. Earl Thomas is not some mythical guy that's all over the field at once. He has some help too.

The next and only move this team should ever make to acquire a player is in the draft to move up to get a quarterback if the right one is there for the right price. Other than that the roster can hold it's own against anybody right now.

I respectfully disagree. Earl Thomas is what makes cover 3 work which allows Chancellor to do his thing.

No doubt they have the best tandem in the league.

I take Earl Thomas hands down.

There is a nice symbiosis in Seattle secondary. Earl Thomas is a great player, but I agree, he is getting a little too much credit at the expense of Kam.

Depends on his contract length. I think he will be 32 by seasons end, but its worth keeping an eye on.

Weddle is a FA next season. Reason he will not re-sign with San Diego is that he was not offered an extension last season, pissed him off. Chargers should get something for him this season because he will walk away next season.

I think his agent already said that the team wasn't trading him. I was referring to next season when he's a FA. I believe he'll be 32 then. I would definitely be interested in him, but with his age it would have to be on a good deal.

Where is he in his negotiations with the Fleahawks? I think the Cowboys should seriously consider trading for him. He would bring a level of physicality to both our secondary AND linebacker corps. when we want to drop a safety down in the box.
