I like Katy Perry - I was actually listening to "Prism" last night. She's a good singer and an excellent song writer, but she'll probably have to lip-sync at the Super Bowl or do a little bit of actual singing to a substantial backing track.

Whether I am old or not does not change the fact that her as well a vast majority of what is popular music wise currently stinks to high heaven. Artistic integrity as well as actual musical talent has been thrown out the window in favor of the almighty dollar and pushing nonsense like this on the less than smart consumers that lap it up.
