Nah, it's not about fault, you have a backup QB and young WR trying to find his way in the league, so it's not a big deal. However, when the ball is in the air, go get it, and maybe I saw it wrong, but I didn't see an effort to claim that ball.
You never heard of a wide receiver not be able to locate the ball he was expecting when he got open for the ball to be in the air and he was looking forward over his right front shoulder it was thrown to the sidelines on his back shoulder we could debate all along who is wrong here but he didn't know where the ball was how is he supposed to fight for the ball he got open and his peripheral vision was looking for the ball they had over him and in front of him and it didn't come he didn't even know it was thrown...
Nobody knows really who to blame, just like when you look at plays and break them down Cooper rush looked totally at fault for throwing that interception in the triple coverage but it really wasn't triple coverage until it was when the ball dropped it got intercepted but when it was released he thought I believe it was at that play Brandon cooks, Brandon cook slipped or tripped maybe he could have made a play on the ball broke it up maybe he would even caught it, but once you break stride like that that ball is up for grabs not making the excuse for either player but when you look at a lot of interceptions that's how they happen somebody slipped somebody fell or somebody read the wrong place but on the other interception.. I mean still not making excuses but I do this with Prescott so I might do it with Cooper rush,
go look at the first interception I believe was where it kinda was thrown like a little bit of a jump ball and yeah the ball was thrown off target anyway probably wouldn't have been caught but it was one-on-one it was the right decision to throw the ball at Brandon cooks he was only being covered by the one guy so he threw the ball to the inside a little where there was nobody at first but our routes as usual and I've seen this more with Mike McCarthy the other guy was covering Ferguson Ferguson the tight end he saw the ball released and he broke off to the inside and the ball was thrown a little off target to the inside and here we go he was not even supposed to be covering on that play but he saw it coming ball was not thrown properly but it was thrown so well to the inside that CJ Gardner was able to peel off his guy and this has happened so much over the last two years it's insane but they're running these routes too close together and not making excuses but we have to keep perspective and yeah if the ball was thrown on target maybe it wasn't intercepted but it was intercepted by somebody that wasn't even in the play when the ball was released.....
So there's no sense of debating whose fault it was or wasn't I mean if that's the conversation we're having here Flamingo didn't even know the ball was thrown he couldn't find it so he didn't fight for the football 'cause he didn't even realize it was there and by the way that happens when you're not playing very much and it happens when you're not on the same page 'cause you're not playing with that quarterback much and sometimes bad plays happen..
That is how games start out like this it was very competitive it looked like it was gonna be a close game the defense was fighting hard and then these interceptions started happening but I even remember the play I believe it was on the first series before the interception literally their rookie corner I believe Quinton would ever have his name is he just literally had a hole fistful of chess jersey that kept that ball from being caught on Brandon cooks Brandon cooks was getting open all day and by the way they are overrating that guy a little bit Quinton whatever his name is he was getting beat a lot by all our wide receivers but the ball just wasn't getting there there is contact being allowed as usual blah blah blah here we are having a bad season and thank God it's over Sunday.....
