KaVontae Turpin on why 'everybody is buying into' new Cowboys' culture, offensive role in 2025

I kinda feel like this is going to be an 8 - 9 season. Still don't trust the offensive line or defensive line. Or the secondary. And the division is tougher.

But I'm glad the players are excited about the change.

I want to believe, but I can't, not until I see it.

"Everybody's buying in," Turpin explained. "Everybody's loving what Schottenheimer is doing. I just feel like we're gonna take the pressure and roll with it, and deal with it. Everybody's excited and everybody wants to be here."

Everyone’s upbeat going into the 5 week lull before training camp opens. Love it.

Why ?

Easy

PR.

Wait until you get demolished in the first three weeks. Lets see how you buy into it then.

They will feel better about themselves this year when they have a similar record. I guess that is a positive.

What the fans think is irrelevant. There is not one team in the NFL saying we are not buying into our coaches philosophy.
What the fans say here is relevant to the enjoyment of this place. Constant diarrhea over positive posts really sucks.

In South Texas I was taught to always support your team.
My high school A.C. Jones in Beeville led the country for most consecutive losses during my time there. We still showed up for the games rooting them on. Some alcohol was involved to help the spirit.

I haven't seen this much positivity since Jason Garrett's t-shirt slogans or McCarthys playing loud rap music during training camp practice.

Jerry Jones sets the culture and he's still here.
I haven't seen much positivity since Garrett clapping on the sidelines while we were losing. >.>

Nobody's thoughts matter. Positive or negative.

I always thought the vocal anti-hater crowd were just projecting/compensating their very obvious insecurities. The perfect subject and venue, allowing them to flex with no accountability. Seeking to fill a void in themselves.

Now we're seeing evidence that at least some of them seem too truly believe they are directly involved with the fortunes of the team via their thoughts and feelings.
it called vicariously living through Dak. They point up to the ceiling when they enter a room. ;)

Beeville. All I know is their police department likely has complaint forms readily available nowadays.

Interesting town for sure.

Not sure what you’re talking about. Please elaborate.
I remember a news story about their department not having complaint forms is all. And the back story of the city's history... This was several years ago though, IIRC.

It’s a sleepy little town of about 11k. Went downhill when the Naval Air Station got bracked.
