I'm reading between the lines here, and what i think he's really saying is we know our offense sux, but we're still going to play defense to the best of our ability. It's good because it means they haven't quit just yet. How long they can maintain this attitude is unknown. Micah has to start making a massive impact again and can't be taking weeks off. The other players have to also do their best every week. If we have to depend on the offense the game will be over before it started.

I'm with Kearse on this one. This defense has earned the benefit of the doubt. Last time they played the 49ers they held them to under 20. They have done their job more often then not and against good teams as well.
