Kearse: We're still a great defense

Kearse should shut up and improve his play before opening his mouth , his play has dropped significantly this year

I have never seen a franchise that feels themself so much after 5 weeks. Before calling yourselves a great defense let's see how the year plays out because 2 out of 5 games so far you guys were horrible.

They sure have. They have been bad at angles on runs and blown coverages. This isn't a new defense they are learning either.

About the only issue I had with what I've read thus far (JK's tweets and such) was the part of comment that went, "We're a great defense..."

Great defenses can be had but the violation that took place Sunday night does not happen to great defenses, particularly a couple weeks after trying to put Dobbs in the Pro Bowl.

I'm starting to think the guys need to be locked in a room and watch the 9ers game on repeat until to a man they come to conclusion that they're a good football team that can certainly do a hell of a lot better but GREAT can be placed on the shelf behind MM's dusty bottles of weight loss supplements.

Stop with "great" and stop with the "next time" crap. Grow up gentlemen.

I'm with Kearse on this one. This defense has earned the benefit of the doubt. Last time they played the 49ers they held them to under 20. They have done their job more often then not and against good teams as well.

I have doubts. They allowed 10 touchdowns to Josh Dobbs and Brock Purdy. The Giants and Patriots are the two worst scoring offenses in the league.

QBs left on the schedule: Herbert, Stafford, Hurts twice, Tua, Allen and Goff. Five of those teams are currently top 7 in scoring. We'll see if this defense is great.

Well…he is partially right. Dallas is a great defense when they play teams who don’t, or can’t threaten them offensively…BUT obviously a different story when playing an offense with playmakers who can challenge Dallas’ defense and stretch the field…then the results aren’t that great and neither are they.

All the cowboy may be thinking like kearse, so they wont be fixing anything.
