That was a freak play though that could happen to anyone. It's not like it's a pulled groin or hamstring, or he broke a foot on his own...Someone fell on his leg just like Flozell.

very true...im just sayin the guy is always hurt

i didnt actually see the play that got him thanks for that

I wasnt aware that sprains to the acl or mcl were season ending.

I heard that earlier and thought he'd just miss a few weeks.

Did they put him on IR already? Or are they going to PUP him and see if he can come back in 6+ weeks?

ACL and PCL tears are pretty much always season-ending (1/2 a year to a year of recovery time). MCL or LCL tears have quicker recovery times. The ACL and PCL are the cruciate ligaments that cross in the middle of the knee joint and are major stabilizers in the knee. The LCL and MCL are the collateral ligaments and give support along the sides of the knee. Kearse has a tough recovery ahead of him.

Got to be honest...When I saw the play...His knee did bend wrong but I've seen worse and the player was OK.

Aikman even mentioned that he's seen guys get helped off the field and they played next week and then he's seen guys walk off the field and then be out for the year.

Any news on OG Andrews, I heard Mickey say that he was getting an MRI on his shoulder.

then, who's line is better, ours or the giants?

we'll find out when we face a real defense.

that's a tough question, cuz Philly sacked David Carr less than they did Manning, and we all know how horrible the Texan line is, maybe the GIant's Oline just sucks? and our line, against 2 formidable pass-rushing teams, have only allowed 3 sacks in 2 games

Some are blaming Troy Polamalu's poor play from Monday night on his extracurricular activities.

KEARSE REPORTS CONFUSING

Depending on what you read and/or hear, Eagles defensive end Jevon Kearse has multiple knee ligament sprains or tears.

The difference would appear to be significant. But what the hell do we know?

Sprained ligaments usually heal without surgical intervention. Torn ligaments (except for partial tears to the rope-like MCL) usually don't.

We can't recall ever hearing of a guy suffering sprained knee ligaments early in the season and being unable to return to the field. In 1995, Rod Woodson of the Steelers tore an ACL Week One and was back for the Super Bowl.

We're trying to track down more info on this one. Stay tuned.

The Commanders are _not_ a formidable pass-rushing team. I'm not saying you're wrong about the Dallas o-line, you're just wrong about the Commanders.

Comparing Kearse to Cole is like comparing prime-rib to round steak.

is that a Texas type analogy? I would say comparing filet mignon to hamburger for more affect, I dont immediately think of round steak as something bad but Im not a steak expert. :)

Around here we usually tenderize and cut up round steak for Chicken Fried Steaks; a dish on the same order as Hamburger Steak. And personally I prefer Prime Rib to Filet Mignon...I suppose it's a matter of taste.
