Media and pseudo media often just repeat stories by other media types.

Having said that, it is logical that he might be a cap cut.
- The Chargers are current negative 20.5M in cap space.
- They also don't have a huge amount of cap space in 2024 which limits pushing 2023 cap dollars into the future.

For anybody saying he costs too much, his old contract is gone if he is cut.
- Then it's just a matter of his market value in free agency.
