This might turn out to be Parcells' easiest assignment.

He knows what to do.

And that is to unleash a withering attack of the deadly Dallas tamdem of Julius Jones and Marion Barber III.

Oh, yeah, Parcells would work those two all day if it were not for a talented young QB who shows subtle swagger, graceful mechanics and a quick-strike lethalness that does not come around often.

Yeah. Parcells will keep Romo active with quick outs to Witten and the occasional strike to T.O. or Crayton.

But on Sunday, starting at 3:20 p.m. or thereabouts, we're gonna see a time-consuming grind it out game by the Dallas RBs.

Keep Romo on the field. Manning off. So simple.

Indianapolis, as stated here and other venues, is among the worst against the run in the league.

THAT is strategy in a nutshell. Romo will be active in handing the ball off to JJ and MBIII. And eat that clock and sap the life out of the Colt defense. (I'll try to get a link.)

Screw that. Unleash Romo and go down swinging. A bully understands one thing: aggression. You might get killed, but he'll know you were there.

The point is that nine teams have tried the "keep Peyton off the field" gambit and nine teams have failed. Yes, we'll run the ball, but that won't be nearly enough.

It better be enough.
Can you see manning on sustained drives? With our relatively inconsistent secondary???
Scary thought.
Run, run, run. Jules and MBIII.

Go at the weakness. Any other point of attack would not make much sense.te

I'd like to add that I think we pass ... to set up the run.

That's how it goes down... and that's how we get Barber and Jones going like you say.

I agree.

similar to the strategy we employed against Washington in 91, no?

We need to shake, rattle and roll on both sides of the ball. Throw in some unexpected play twists. Manning is the ultimate method man. Give him a little bit of an unconventional working environment at Texas Stadium including the fans turning Philly for at least this game.
