The defense was horrible against the Giants. They got shredded just like they did by the Broncos and Chargers. The difference? The Giants are extremely turnover prone this season and we took advantage. Look at Eli's qb rating and passing yards in that game.

I like the gunslinger version............but give him and his receivers the same scheme/ patterns that Peyton has..........

The D.........need a 4th penetrator up front-----a healthy Rat shorterm, our LB and Dbacks are being hung out to dry without pressure in this D

This game is the template for the rest of the year. All the teams in the division play poor defense. We're going to need to put a lot of points on the board.

I'm not convinced that they don't revert back to KC/SD form. How often do we see a nice, effective offense only to be changed because that is what the upcoming defense dictates, according to the tape? How about run their own offense and make their defense adjust to us.

My question is where was this offense in the 2nd half last week?

I agree.

This offense reminded me of the TO offense. Aggressive playmaking, trusting your stars to make a play.

Was refreshing to actually enjoy watching a game for once

My thoughts exactly. Throughout this game, I kept having flashbacks to 2007 (Romo making amazing scrambles to avoid sacks and hit an open man, Witten catching the ball down the seams for large YAC, and receivers making huge plays). I've been secretly hoping that somehow, they could rediscover whatever made them the explosive offense they were in 2007, especially after watching how conservative the offensive gameplan was in the first 4 games. I don't know if this was the first time they finally decided to place their trust in offensive line (maybe not pure coincidence, considering this was Waters' first start) or if they simply thought it was the only way to keep up with the Broncos. Regardless, I hope they learned that it's something they need to keep doing.

The offense was impressive.

But i'm not confident we can even win the division.

With the way this defense is playing, i think washington and philly will give us all we can handle.

DOn't be surprised if we go back to the same old dink and dunk offense next week.
