Oh brother, here we go. Do tell what big bad Brooking would've done to TO? Smacked him in his face? Killed him? Let's hear the fantasies, I'm all ears.

Who else wishes Brooking had been here last year when TO was?
If we'd drafted Brooking, we wouldn't have lost 6 straight playoff games.

I don't know that there are many successful teams where the players aren't the true leaders. Through BP and Wade's time, we haven't had the leadership of guys like Brooking until now.

Kinda makes you wonder where we would have been had Woodson and Dat not had to call it quits early ..

Props to Phillips for this move. Props to Stephen Jones for getting in daddy's ears.
I like the part where Jerry gets no credit whatsoever.

Sure he does. After all they were Jerrys ears, I said that.

Didn't someone on this forum say a couple of days ago that they knew for a fact that it was Tnew that Brooking slapped?

I would pay 100 dollars to see Brooking and Owens in the same locker room.

:laugh2:

That was ManicDepressiveMan .

And if you look at his post history you will see that he takes every shot he can at T-New

He was just making crap up.

oh, it was a stupid suggestion to begin with.

A new guy coming into a team would not walk up to a veteran and slap him upside the head. IMO, that would be bold and stupid and you ran the risk of dividing the locker room.

I should clarify, I was being sarcastic with my remark

Some people need to have their sarcasm meter adjusted. I thought it was kinda obvious myself after reading all your posts over the years.

It's really easy to do over the internet.

It would have made headlines.

I'm not sure Brooking would have had the same leadership impact if TO were here. TO is good at finding someone's insecurities and exploiting it for divisive purposes. That would have undermined Brooking's leaderships IMO.
