the first time they did it was sunday against the Commanders.
It was about 2 and half minutes long and it was Keith brooking urging the crowd to yell, scream, cheer and make noise everyway possible to help the team. He said we need your help, we want to have the biggest home field advantage in the league and we need your help.
He then said its 82000 of us and then looked down and pointed and said against 11 of them.

So throughout the game on the third downs they kept flashing the Remember what I said graphic on the screen. And it worked.
Also I would like to add, they have changed all the scoreboards in the stadium and on the video board, all the info is now right in front of you.
they also have a huge graphic now urging the crowd to be quiet.....it says shhhh quiet offense working.
the brooking one is great though.

That is awesome.
Can you provide more detail on that? I remember that being a bit of a pain at the one game I went to this year.theebs;3106153 said:Right before kickoff, They had a video of brooking.

seriously? that has to be the dumbest rule in the NFL.Chocolate Lab;3106137 said:Heh, the Ticket guys were talking about that this morning... They said it's against NFL rules to put anything up like "Make Noise!" on the stadium screens during the game, so before the game starts they have something like Keith saying to get loud when we're on defense. Then during the game, they do the "Remember what I said" thing to get around the rule.
I was hoping someone at the game would tell us exactly what it was saying before the game, though.

I have never seen a guy (besides some QB's) go to a team and become so influential so fast.

Hoofbite;3106387 said:So league rules permit the board asking for noise but do no permit the board from asking for silence?
Ozzu;3106389 said:You have it backwards, but yeah. You can ask the crowd to shut up but you can't ask the crowd to go bananas. At least not directly.
