Watkins sustained a slight concussion.

Yep the team said he had a mild concussion and he did it on special teams covering a kickoff.

Doesn't Davis come in on some nickel or dime packages? When Williams moves up to LB or nicklebacker? I've been catching him in defensive formations pretty regularly, I think.

Nope since henry and newman have been back davis never plays, nate jones has seemingly lost all of his playing time also.

and since courtney brown has been playing so well on special teams who knows how long before he takes a minor role at safety.

btw, Roy williams 91 straight games starting streak ended today. He was on the sideline most of the first quarter.

Yep, he didnt start today, we were in that nickel with henry, newman reeves and hamlin at fs to start the game and stayed in it for most of the first two series.

But yep his consecutive games started, 91 straight, streak ended today. it was the longest active streak on the team.

i hate to say it but i would rather have roy out there covering than davis....i did see watkins come back in after davis was in there though.

I did see Roy play the run well today. On one play in particular he looked like the heat-seeking missle of his younger days.

Trust me. He didnt start, He was hardly on the field for the first two defensive series because we were in that nickel package where hamlin plays centerfield, newman in the slot, reeves and henry out wide and we keep the extra linebacker on the field as opposed to roy.

It jumped out at me from my seat instantly. Roy was standing right next to stewart and wade on the sideline. After the first play they gave him a bunch of instructions and sent him out there, and he came back out on third down.
