Moore is still improving. his scheme and play calling is good, but game management (is that the head coach responsibility? his? joint responsibility?). and his redzone play calling needs to improve. he also needs to try and not to out smart himself at times, ala Chargers game when we were driving down field. running easily. quick passes. moving the chains and he calls a college gimmiky play and kills the momentum. immediately after that play calls a 4 reciever combination but all are going mid to deep while the middle is wide open (slant). and dak got sacked and out of field goal range....he just needs to clean it up a bit. like I said. improving, but not upper echelon yet.
Only mistake was running the swinging gate twice. 1st one to Pollard worked great and 2nd time he ran it in the same series he even said he over reached on that play. He mentioned other plays that are flee flicker (gimmick plays) that they work on and should the situation arise in the game he they will use them. One reason is you know the opponent has not prepared for it. Maybe because I grew up watching Landry I don't mind the occasional trick play, he seem to run them at least 1 time a game be it a halfback pass or some other play that defense is just not ready for.
