For those interested in good reading and an education on Dak and what Moore failed todo, give it a read. Since play action and 3rd and long were two big issues for the offense its not hard to also surmise that the run game failures were also a problem as was the Oline blocking. Both in the run and the pass.

But if you prefer hard evidence, the statistics suggest that Prescott is best at play-action and deep shots. He’s been in the top five of all quarterbacks in passer rating on play-action attempts for all but one of his years in the NFL. Prescott has also ranked in the top 10 of quarterbacks in passer rating on throws that travel 20 yards or more in every year of his career thus far.

Similarly, Prescott attempted a pass over 20 yards downfield on just 10.8% of his passes. That ranks astonishingly low in the league, 23rd among qualifying quarterbacks. That’s fewer deep shots than Jacoby Brissett, Geno Smith, and rookies Kenny Pickett and Brock Purdy. Not only did the Cowboys limit their deep shot passing game, they were living for the short game, targeting hitch routes at the fourth highest rate of any offense in 2022.

Much of the blame has been laid at the feet of Prescott, and unfairly so. Prescott has proven time and again that he’s an extremely gifted quarterback, but the Cowboys - and, more specifically, Moore - failed him this season.

Anyone with a half of brain know KM dumb *** failed the whole offense. Dak didn't help himself with bad decisions, but its hard to win in this league with a low IQ offensive coordinator with a vanilla regular season scheme and too dumb to make the correct in-game adjustments like REAL professional offensive coordinators make.

In 66 regular season games, Kellen Moore amassed 13 40-burgers, 3 50-burgers, a 27.7 ppg which includes 17 games without Dak Prescott,
You have to go back 40 years to achieve these numbers prior to the arrival of Kellen Moore.
The problem is a quarterback who cannot sink the 8-ball. The players are coming up small - not the coordinators.

My trust in Kellen Moore died the day Amari Cooper aired out the flawed WR Scheme 3 seasons ago.....I am not the biggest Cooper fan because I think he lacks in overall team Leadership ability not matching his on field Elite abilities.

Plus this Linehan/Moore offense weirdly is adverse to featuring Elite Players...."just take what they give us crap"....

You can't.
Cowboy fans are regretting the day Dallas let Kellen Moore go. If not now, then they will when the Cowboys are 10th or lower in total offense next season and out of the playoff picture.

Kellen Moore did not fail Dak, the whole team has failed Dak. Dak is stuck with nothing but scrubs and does not deserve that! Dak has to carry this team and he is not paid enough to put up with that. If I were JJ I would blow the whole team up, everyone except Dak and then build a good team around him, something he has never had and that is a waste of his incredible talent at the QB position. I'm moving to the dark side. Dak from now on is my idol. And, get this! I am not going to buy just one Bobble Head of Dak, but I'm going to buy three of them. Also, I'm going to get a brand new Dak jersey and have it framed and hung in my house so the first thing my visitors see is that jersey, it will mean so much to me. I think my dog will like it too!
