I'm moving to the dark side. Dak from now on is my idol. And, get this! I am not going to buy just one Bobble Head of Dak, but I'm going to buy three of them. Also, I'm going to get a brand new Dak jersey and have it framed and hung in my house so the first thing my visitors see is that jersey, it will mean so much to me. I think my dog will like it too!
Heck, if going all out might as well get the Dak iPhone screensaver and Dak tattoo on the left side of the arse.

I already have installed that screen saver, and when I get the tat it's going to be a picture of Dak that covers my whole back, but I need to find a good tat artist to make sure to not make a mistake because Dak is a beautiful person and I want his face to stand out real good. Damn, I'm getting giddy just thinking about it!

For those interested in good reading and an education on Dak and what Moore failed todo, give it a read. Since play action and 3rd and long were two big issues for the offense its not hard to also surmise that the run game failures were also a problem as was the Oline blocking. Both in the run and the pass.

But if you prefer hard evidence, the statistics suggest that Prescott is best at play-action and deep shots. He’s been in the top five of all quarterbacks in passer rating on play-action attempts for all but one of his years in the NFL. Prescott has also ranked in the top 10 of quarterbacks in passer rating on throws that travel 20 yards or more in every year of his career thus far.

Similarly, Prescott attempted a pass over 20 yards downfield on just 10.8% of his passes. That ranks astonishingly low in the league, 23rd among qualifying quarterbacks. That’s fewer deep shots than Jacoby Brissett, Geno Smith, and rookies Kenny Pickett and Brock Purdy. Not only did the Cowboys limit their deep shot passing game, they were living for the short game, targeting hitch routes at the fourth highest rate of any offense in 2022.

Much of the blame has been laid at the feet of Prescott, and unfairly so. Prescott has proven time and again that he’s an extremely gifted quarterback, but the Cowboys - and, more specifically, Moore - failed him this season.
There's plenty of failure to go around. Moore failed to do some of the things the offense and Prescott do best, which hurt us against some quality defenses. Dak failed to complete passes that he should have and threw some that he shouldn't have. And the receivers at times failed to secure catches that they should have.

We have a tendency to try to find one person to blame and exonerate another or others, but that's not really how this game works. When a team fails, there are multiple people to blame for it.

Well, I figured you would want to go for realism so the arse tattoo would be closer to the reality of Dak's play.

Time will tell. I am interested to see what type of O Moore runs with the Chargers. My guess is he will have much more say over the O in LA than at any point in Dallas. The HC there is a Defense guy while Moore has worked under two Offense coaches. When that is the case, one never really knows what the HC is telling the OC to do in regards to their mindset on how an O should run. I bet we see a LOT more motion and bunch sets with the Chargers than we did with D, niether Garrett or MM like a ton of motion pre-snap. Not to mention that he will have a QB that is far more talented than any QB he has worked with anywhere he has been, including backing up Romo here. I also think that a lot of folks that blame Moore for all the short stuff and vanilla routes etc will be very disappointed when MM rolls out a lot of the same things next year. His biggest issue is going to be having a QB that does not do well hitting anyone in stride which is something his O is built around. It's going to be interesting to see how our O performs next year while seeing if Moore does stuff differently there.

Moore was running a CONSERVATIVE game plan for Rush, considering the circumstances. His output against the Giants essentially matched Dak’s and last year against the Vikings, had no problems finding Cooper and had a nice 70 yarder to Wilson over the middle and threw fir well over 300 yards.

This is complete BS as Dallas was running plenty of deep routes even with Rush. Teams just played way more zone and were giving up the underneath this year.

The same thing happened against Denver onward when rushing 4.

Throwing against man coverage on go routes, back in the day, whoopity doo.. those days are over.

How’s this for a plus 20 yarder stare down to end the half against the Bears:

What stands out for me is the statement "Moore ran on early downs at an alarmingly high rate". I've been saying this for years now.

There will always be excuses.

This whole thread is an excuse for Dak.

Everyone will fall under the bus to excuse Dak and his poor performances. It's everyone's fault but Daks.
I have already given up on him. Only Jerry, Stephen and a select few are still on the Dak bandwagon.

Tell me an offensive coordinator who can do better.
You can't.
Cowboy fans are regretting the day Dallas let Kellen Moore go. If not now, then they will when the Cowboys are 10th or lower in total offense next season and out of the playoff picture.
If this if that blah blah blah. You sound like the same clowns who said JG was a great OC and it was Romo who sucked, and we'll find out when JG goes to another team. How that turn out? :lmao:

Take it from me......you should be careful discussing KMoore.
