It'll be Christmas in January for me if Carolina is dumb enough to hire a guy who throws on 2nd and 2 in the redzone  He SUCKS! He'll beat up on sorry defenses. He schemes against a good defense-game over. For Dallas.

I can just imagine the interview...

Panthers: "Kellen, we really like the job you've done in Dallas. There's just one question we have left. If you're able to give a believable answer, you've got the job. Here it is...

...what in the name of Tom Landry were you thinking putting Zeke at center on the last play of the 9ers game?"

The new excuse will be

"Dak needs at least a year with a new OC to get on same page...."

This will lead to....

9th year is the charm!!
Lol...I mean this FO kept JG for 10 years so thats always a reality. But what real option do they have? Again cutting Dak and being in cap hell for 2 years wastes this D, that would be criminal to me also.

We need an OC who knows how to get the run game going and is committed to it. We don't need an OC who calls a pass play with an empty set on 2nd and 2. This is what Jimmy Johnson has been saying about Dak.

“His No. 1 strength is he is a great leader for that football team,” Johnson said this week on Fox Sports’ The Herd. “He can win you a championship if you got really good players around him. They’ve had some injuries with the running game. They’re not running the football as well they did before Dak got injured. When they’re running the football, those play-action passes, Dak is really good. … But when he’s got to drop back and start reading the whole field and make decisions about where he’s throwing the football, and the defense isn’t slowing down for the run … he’s not near as good. He can win you a championship, but you better get the running game back.”

It's easy to look good against an 8-9 playoff team that looked like they were more interested in starting their vacation than going to the divisional round...including Brady.

All that matters is winning...the rest is noise. I think if San Fran had Dak they'd still be in the divisional round...because of their coach's game plan against the opponents they are facing. Moore didn't game plan anything. Quinn did, he knew what needed to be slowed on the 49er's offence and devised a plan. what was Moore's plan? To call a dumb play at the end of the game?
