Kellen Moore Play Calling

Also no RPO. It seems at times he doesn't think it needs it and goes fairly plain. Mix it up a little and defenses will be spread thin.

Yeah, where do people get this crapp from?

We started the game throwing long passes. And would not quit, even though it wasn't working.

Had to catch them off guard and establish a new identity, lol. I can understand mixing in a high percentage throw on the first play, but have to play smarter.

The 4th and goal after the Diggs fumble recovery was VERY disappointing. We ran every play but should have come up with something better on 4th.
We motioned the receiver away from King's side, leaving Him with no receiver on his side and free to crash down when He read the hand off, I thought that was a read option that Dak was gonna keep and roll left if King crashed in, but no, straight hand off that King was free to blow up unblocked, poor design or poor execution, not sure which.

I don’t understand how people keep complaining about Moore. When Dak is starting we’ve been the highest scoring offense for the last two years. Moore didn’t throw the picks or drop the punt. Not every drive is going to be a touchdown.
then you don't get football if you don't understand the impact of OC on offensive game....you would be totally clueless

We ran 31 times at 4.1 yards per carry

Misleading, Tony/Zeke had 25 planned carries, the rest made up of rpo and Dak scrambles.

You're reading the box score with no analysis.....the one drive that stalled on the line contained a stretch of 7 carries for 12 yards (from Houston's10 yard line) . Moore dials up lazy running up the middle, expecting to score and when the Texans hold out he blames it on the run and shelves it.

After 3 possessions (14-10 up) we had run 84yards / 10 carries. The starting drive of the second half contained 10 carries....was that a success or failure, as mentioned above we went up the field (but yes we couldnt get in from the 12 yard line with 7 consecutive runs).

Moore drops the running game as early as he can. You run early to prosper late, that's what's got us here.

That's nothing new, it's what's happened throughout the season. You run early to prosper late. What we did was disrespect and panicked, going to the pass too soon.
We came out throwing the ball. It made no sense.

So on our first touchdown its a beautifully designed play. I think zeke went one way, pollard the other. You can clearly see how the misdirection affected the defense. Last week against the colts we had Ceedee running those jet sweeps... dak running with the ball.

So KM does it on the first drive then doesn't do it again? I don't understand why he doesn't. It can be an effective part of the offense. Not only to help move the chains, but help dak get into rhythm as well. But we go away from it?

Its just mind boggling to me. Teams use that misdirection stuff the entire game, and it works for them. With the weapons and oline we have (not to mention dak running). It needs to be a bigger part of this offense.
He needs to go, he's way too inconsistent and doesn't know how to stay with a hot running game!

Horrible. Doesn’t scheme players open. Bone headed calls - nothing new and creative. Tried to screen to Zeke? He’s slow. Do the screen to pollard you dummy. Hasn’t got the ball to Turpin on offense even once this year. He’s not good.

I've said it a few times, but it was his worst performance all season.

We were running against the worse run defense in the last 50 years or so, and avg 7 yards a clip. There is NO good reason Dak should've thrown the ball 28 times in the first half.

KM was beyond terrible yesterday.

Why was Dak passing the ball out of the back of his end zone late in the fourth quarter? Why didn’t they have back Zeke and Pollard in on the fourth and goal play. You could have called a play action or a quarterback sneak.

Always baffling. Certainly befuddled that TPollard is not part of the 2 minute package. Air Coryell Jr doesn't impress me.

the execution was bad. if you can execute anything looks good. sheesh
Remember that one game where the offensive execution was terrible but everyone liked the offensive gameplan?

Me either. Its never happened with any fanbase in the history of football.

So your argument is that we have had a top 3 offense in multiple categories like points per game for the last 2 years despite an offensive coordinator who should be run out of the league?
