I would covet the cowboys head coaching job. Give me 5 million dollars for a couple of years and I can retire for life.

The other guys, not so certain they would covet the job lmao

There is nothing respectable or coveted by smart coaches to come to the Cowboys.

No one wants to take a pay cut to coach a team they have no control over.
They don't even have control over their own staff picks. Let alone player decisions.

Mike McCarthy was smart to say no. Because then at least he projects the image of being fed up.
Him saying no to Jerry helps his public perception. So he looks like he quit the dysfunctional Cowboys.

im calling bs, because is Philly he’s got talent for days and can ride saquon brown, that line, etc to a non-Stephen led franchise elsewhere and actually have a shot at success. Normally I’d say you have to jump at a offer, but kelllen may have said he wants more than trash for personnel management

Imo, Jones knew Kellen moore persona ..as well as they knew Schott's own persona both insiders

but my nly guess work is it likely came down to " leader of men " tone .. and schott able to
sell his offensive game to the Jones .

So what if KM coveted the job, why report since he didn't get the job? Where's the report on Saleh, Deion, Frazier?
If he wanted the job that bad then he should have had the decency to exit the playoffs earlier, lol - just like when he was here. If his team had been eliminated last weekend - who knows with Jerry, maybe he'd be the coach now. Whatever is easiest for Jerry apparently is the hiring process these days.
