Kellen Moore takes blame for Gallup going catchless

Don't watch film on Dallas games after......but there were several times Dak was throwing into triple or double coverage and should have had at least a couple passes picked off. Wonder if Gallup was open on those plays. Don't know, but yeah this passing offense is not exactly hard to figure out by opposing defenses, and less lethal if open receivers are not targeted. Babyface needs to have plays to get receivers open and Dak has to find them. Both are responsible.

Good post.

So this means Gallup is "owed" touches and now our opponent chaps know to double him up?
Nice going, Mr. Ed, for so much telegraphing and to begin with, apologizing to a player for lack of targets/
In what planet do coaches explain and apologize to players on the game plan?

He is still not 100% from the injury. Which is why the FO needed more WR depth because it wasn’t wise to think gallup would be his old self at this point yet.

At 100% Gallup is slightly above average. That should concern our FO braintrust.

I have been saying for years that he uses the outside WRs as decoys most of the time to clear out space for the underneath routes.

It is why Dez, Cooper, Gallup, etc never get many targets on the outside. Quite a few of Lamb's receptions come from the slot. Some of it is on Dak, Gallup had his man deep a few times but Dak came off him too quick instead of taking the shot down the sideline.

Sweet! I have Gallup sitting on the bench of my FF team. He will definitely get the start next week.

I don't really care who catches and how many, but isn't it ultimately up to the QB who he targets?

Had a crossing route the ball hit him in both hands and he dropped it. Slightly behind but still on his chest. Gallup’s been inconsistent at best with his hands since his return.
Yes I remember that one now. Pass was a little behind him
