At his size, is he going to stand up to the NFL at WR?

I'd rather see him stay healthy and turn a few field positions around on returns than try to make him something he may not be. He's also not a rookie, he's 26 years old now so.............

I hope I'm wrong and we have something on our hands, I really do.
He also has played football too. Might be USFL but still. He can play in the slot

I don't know why you care what I think. They are just opinions. I hope he can set the NFL on fire I just think the odds are against him.

Please do not mistake willingness to participate in discussion for "caring who you think." I don't know you well enough to care what you think. It's a topic worth discussing so I am discussing it from my point of view. Nothing more.. nothing less. There have been plenty of good football players in the NFL who were slightly built. As long as he doesn't get dinged up and lose his quickness and agility nobody is going to be putting any big hits on this kid. As such I think his size isn't likely to be much of a factor. If he was running back I might see it differently.. but as a part time receiver and return man? Nah...

Dude i hope you are right because if you are theres alot to be excited about with this kid. I see some tavon austin in him and all it takes is 1 good pop. But the kid has been playing alot of football and seems to have a knack for avoiding the big hit. In this league though everybodies fast.

As a little guy I can attest to something most people don't know.. When you're small you bounce off big hits and they really don't rock you the way people think or the way it looks. The big hurts come from having 1000 pounds of humanity fall on you in the pile up. Or getting your leg caught funny while you're making a cut. If Turpin gets hurt it's likely to be from something like that more so than him getting lit up by a big hit. As you correctly point out, little guys have to learn how to avoid big hits and Turpin appears to have mastered that art. Not to say he won't suffer one or two, but it's not going to be something that happens a lot.

Then why did you feel the need to say the ST coach would see him as a ST guy? If you felt KM's comment was completely unrelated to Turpin's other roles on the team then your comment about ST's would be irrelevant.

Obviously the coaches talk, and it all falls under the scope of the head coach, so ultimately both coaches would see him fitting in both roles.
I was just pointing out that despite how KM sees it, Turpin will be used outside of KM's scope of responsibility because there are other coordinators that have him doing stuff too.
