If the net change of this is Kellen Moore going out the door, and Brian Schottenheimer becoming the offensive coordinator, the Cowboys are not better than they were yesterday. Schottenheimer is a brutal offensive coordinator.
There's a lot of coaching turnover this offseason. Unless there's some assurance that McCarthy is here beyond 2023 (meaning he signs an extension), I can't see them adding a lot of quality for the current vacancies. Who of value would want to come on board for a head coach who could be gone in a year?
