Cowboys pass game specialist Ken Dorsey on his role in Dallas: “I’m helping out with the offense in general. I’ll be able to go where needed in terms of helping out position groups and things like that. It’s something that I’m going to be able to help a lot with tying the pass game with the run game and just some of the pass concepts and things like that. It’s more of a big picture role more so than a specific, one lane type deal.”

Wait till he finds out that there's no run game here.
Lol lol lol more like run the QB into the ground passing the ball 40+ times a game

Back in the day, you would set up the pass with the run, in today's game, it's mostly reversed....you set up the run with the pass. Of course, most that don't understand will turn this into a negative or a joke. In reality, these type of coaches can really help by being able to separate themselves from the offensive and see it with a different perspective. Will they listen to his 2 cents, will be the real question

Great hire. Not. What was he told the job would be? Help design an offense that doesn’t focus on the $60m QB?

He will tie the passing game to the running game, hater.

Like when they pass he will suggest running the next down. Everything gets tied together. In harmony.

I don’t think anything of him but i wouldn’t write him off because of his previous stay. Coaches learn and get better like any profession.

There still waiting for Marvin Lewis to figure it out in Cincinnati......perhaps his 17th season as HC would have been the charm

Well at least Schott will have lots of new ideas and concepts to lean on since he hasn’t called plays in a few years

The front office’s uncanny ability to cycle through coaches and unearth ‘hidden gems’ is truly unmatched.

Whose gonna be in charge or control or responsible for the pass designs and pass scheme ..?

Is Dorsey gonna be more like a consultant ? .Advisor ? Suggestion guy ? .. much like Schott himself came in such a role ?
