We should have just picked up Dwight Smith 2 years ago and not even have this on the radar at the moment.

Are you thinking of whatshisface from Minnesota?

Because Dwight Smith was last year. Summer says we don't need him. :D

wow i really find that surprising. i went over to the seahawks forum and that was what they were saying. well up until they signed grant and russell at which they turned on hamlin that is but i digress.

i could go into the whole sacks are not indicative of a pass rush argument but that would make me a hypocrite so i wont do that but that really suprises me. thats what i get for trust ing seattle fans :(

it would also make no sense, because a better pass-rush would manage to have at least 1 more sack

i dont buy it either thats why i wont use it but there are people that will tell you that number of sacks does not truly indicate pressure created. It would be the perfect argument to place there but my hypocrisy only goes so far.

and Seattle signed Grant because Hamlin was as good? Give me a break, Hamlin stinks in coverage and Seattle let him go to improve at that position.

I think Seattle is cleaning house too. Stevens was a trouble case and Hamlin is the same, plus he has a soft head. Hopefully they structure his deal so it is possible to walk away after a year.

thats not what seashawks fans say. they say he was released because he had swollen brain tissue and a brain clot that puts him at risk which is a VERY seriosu point.

They say he doesnt tackle well actually and that Boulware was the problem as well as the corners in coverage. Apparently he doesnt always wrap up and goes for the big hit. He actually is above average in coverage they say.

His scouting reposts say hes verygood in coverage but fell off a bit after the injury. And then you have yahoos that come in and say things just like yourself.
