Meh doesn’t really do much for me he’s 32. He’s just a guy who fills a hole for a year until a rookie or a udfa steps up next year. These older vets don’t really move the needle for me.

Just pray he isn’t suffering from PTSD having to play for Brandon Staley.

He backed out of a deal with the 49ers to play here? What's wrong with this guy?

Everyone looks good in highlight films of course, but I don't recall seeing any of our LBs shoot the right gap so often during the same time period. Clearly the instincts or time in the film room were superior to what we had here.

Maybe I am not seeing it but has the cost been shown yet?
He is a good signing as long as he is not done.

This is certainly an upgrade for our depleted LB group but that isn't saying much. But this is just Jerry throwing us a shiny object to distract us from the fact that he sat on his hands while the best players were taken off the board by everyone else. Next, he'll sign a RB like Dalvin Cook or AJ Dillon and pretend we just signed the best RB in free agency, and our rushing offense has been fixed. I am not falling for it.

Remember when he signed Anthony Barr? Big name. But Barr was a shell of his former self. He was a liability in the run defense because he was slow and lost his range. I hope that is not what we see from 32 year old Kendricks. But I do not believe this signing moves the needle 1 inch.

I think this is about right. Great player on the back side of career. Knows system. Good instincts. A step slower than his prime days, but can still play. 32 yrs old bothers me some on ILBs. they take a lot of abuse. He is coming in 2 yrs older than Barr (OLB) was when he got to Dallas. But, he will be able to help Zimmer install his system, and fills a need on the field.

So when announced he was going to SF, how many had another melt down.

Now he signed with Dallas, how many of the same are saying he is older, means nothing.
