This kid is flying under radars right now but could be a steal in the middle rounds. Well built at 5'10 215 lbs. Not really explosive but is a quick and smooth RB who runs with toughness.

Rushed for 4,480 yards in his career and broke the NCAA record for overall career TD's this year (72 total) and you never heard about it. Kid can play. Name to keep an eye on.

What's the difference between "explosive" and "quick"?

What's the difference between "explosive" and "quick"?

He's quick-footed in terms of agility in traffic, cut backs, etc., but he doesn't explode through the hole, nor will he burst away from anyone. Not a burner or "home-run hitter" per se.

Hasn't he had something along the lines of 900 catches/carries in college? That's a lot of wear and tear before he even joins a team.

Well, he can catch the ball out of the backfield. But I wasn't all that impressed by his highlight video. Looks pretty routine to me.

Thanks. :)

I watched his highlight video the other day. I was incredibly impressed by his skillset. Runs with a real chip on his shoulder and a never say die attitude.

Great player...special agility for a guy with his size and build. Dixon or Collins in the 3rd round is a pretty amazing scenario for us.

I have never seen the kid, but that video impressed me. I might get blasted, but I see a little Emmitt in him, the way he has natural lean and shoulder dip. He is short and stocky and has a great build it looks like. I'm not sure I see feature back and his mileage worries me, but looks like a great kid to have around in a committee approach.

His running ability in traffic is actually very impressive, as is his balance and he makes extremely violent cuts, which I love to see. He may have just become a pet cat. Thanks for postin.

Love him, but he's not flying under anybody's radar. NFL Draft Scout already have him moved to the 2nd round and I see no way he gets out of the 3rd. I view him as the best all purpose back in this draft.

My thoughts exactly.

that shoulder dip was the first thing I notice, well the second thing the first thing was his ability to catch the ball past the line of scrimmage. I like the video, lasted longer than most I have seen.

If Elliott, Henry or Collins is not drafted then why the hell not.

Dixon is the back I covet. Clearly the 2nd or 3rd best RB in draft, could be best after all is said and done. He reminds me of a more athletic Marion the Barbarion but with better quickness and much more durability.

Dixon in the 2nd and Byron Marshall (5'9 205) in the 5th should be the targets to replace Murray and Dunbar. Marshall only falls because of a leg injury (only injury he's ever had) but the kid only rushed for 1,000 yards one season and then had 1,000 yard receiving the next season when moved to WR. Only player to do this ever.

Marshall is exactly what we want Dunbar to be when he grows up. Just cheaper, more durable and much more productive.

I liken him more to Sweetness actually. People tend to forget how violently Payton ran. Or to lower the expectation, how about a better version of MB3.

Eh, Payton was more of a power guy than this kid. He has the shoulder shrug Payton had, but that us about the only similarity I see. That's a hell of a comparison though if that's what you see.

I think the kids is very smooth, cuts on a dime to change directions and really knows how to set up his blockers. Doesn't over juke but moves are subtle so very efficient. Great ability to catch ball out of back field. Not sure where he'll get drafted but I think he's got a future in the NFL.

His vision impressed me the most. Y'all keep talking catching out of the backfield. ........he was catching the ball like a wide out, those sideline catches were great. Would like to see if he can blitz pickup as well. Uses his body well in routes and as a ball carrier. Thanks for sharing
