His vision impressed me the most. Y'all keep talking catching out of the backfield. ........he was catching the ball like a wide out, those sideline catches were great. Would like to see if he can blitz pickup as well. Uses his body well in routes and as a ball carrier. Thanks for sharing

The answer is yes to the blitz pick up. He's one of if not the best blocking RBs in this draft.

Sign me up. Looks like a player. The article earlier compared him to Curtis Martin. I see that for sure

He looks like he could compete with DMC for carries right away. He can catch, but can he be counted on to protect Romo?

This kid is flying under radars right now but could be a steal in the middle rounds. Well built at 5'10 215 lbs. Not really explosive but is a quick and smooth RB who runs with toughness.

Rushed for 4,480 yards in his career and broke the NCAA record for overall career TD's this year (72 total) and you never heard about it. Kid can play. Name to keep an eye on.

I know it's just highlights, but I'd like to see more between-the-tackles running by him. They tended to run him off-tackle or wide, so we didn't get to see how well he can negotiate through heavy traffic. He's a fighter, but I didn't see much power when he did have to run in traffic as in he didn't tend to bowl through bodies, instead wriggling, twisting and turning to get loose.

Running to the outside and wriggling loose don't work as well in the NFL. I wouldn't mind taking him in the middle to late rounds, but I wouldn't take him earlier than that because of those concerns.

Hasn't he had something along the lines of 900 catches/carries in college? That's a lot of wear and tear before he even joins a team.

This no longer bothers me when it comes to RB's. They are so easy to find later in drafts that if one only last 1 or 2 seasons who cares just draft another one. Unless we get a guy like Adrian Peterson or Marshawn Lynch then I wouldn't EVER sign a RB to a big second contract anyways.

I have never seen the kid, but that video impressed me. I might get blasted, but I see a little Emmitt in him, the way he has natural lean and shoulder dip. He is short and stocky and has a great build it looks like. I'm not sure I see feature back and his mileage worries me, but looks like a great kid to have around in a committee approach.

His running ability in traffic is actually very impressive, as is his balance and he makes extremely violent cuts, which I love to see. He may have just become a pet cat. Thanks for postin.

Maybe a little of Emmitt. I see a lot of Thurman Thomas, especially with his pass-catching ability.

If your running style is being compared to Emmitt Smith and Thurman Thomas, you're doing some thing right.

Honestly for the NEAR future, the most important quality any RB for this team HAS to have, is the ability to pick up the blitz. The best in the draft is Elliot but he wont be a Cowboy for many reasons, but mainly because he would have to be picked in the first.

Can he be this drafts Alfred Morris? Would really like if we were to select him he's going up many draft boards.

Yep. But with the way you recycle RBs these days I'm not sure that's a major issue as long as you're not considering the player in the 1st round.

Exactly. Who cares how many carries they had if we're burning a 2nd or 3rd on them? We need capable starters now, not five years down the road. Thinking too far ahead is what gave us Escobar, Bennett, Fasano

Great player...special agility for a guy with his size and build. Dixon or Collins in the 3rd round is a pretty amazing scenario for us.

Horrible blitz pickup...and blew about 4 assignments in the Sr Bowl practices...going in the wrong direction???? :omg: And dropped a couple passes. Nice runner....but he's got some things to clean up.

Not really anything special as far as physical ability but he does everything well and surprisingly finishes runs.

I agree. I wasn't really impressed with him the little I saw. And for those putting together a highlight tape, get the best highlights up first. I was like five video clips into the tape, and I'm like "Ho Hum!"
