We might....but we might not. I'll wait for the season to start on the unknown things. There are things we do know about players but the new players here and second/3rd year guys can change how things look. We'll see

Man I’ll be honest….he was a good signing but seemed like he had a lot of plays made after first down. I was hoping more for plays within the line of scrimmage.

This team has been clearly awful vs the run for going on a decade now and they continue to do everything to fix it except whats actually necessary.

Mazi is probably a bust and they refuse to accept that. Even if he isn’t, they aren’t deep enough there by any reach. But Jerry is like….I gave a big contract and used a first rounder…I want my ROI.

Then it’s tears and shock in January.

Murray will eventually learn this up front and close when a guard has a head of steam headed right at him because no one up front is worth a crap vs the run.

Honestly what good is having six pass rushers when the other team doesnt have to pass because they have a lead and can run it at will?

I've had these exact same discussions here.
It's like, why do the better running teams need to pass against Dallas when they don't even have to?

Damn!!! Say it ain't so, with Simmons n Sweat in front of Murray things should be a little easier. Fast forward to the present, I find it irresponsible to make a claim about stopping the run when Dallas struggled and you yourself was trash last season.

On topic, Kenneth Murray is the highest paid, highest pedigree, and is the most depended on to solid. Sounds like Sanborn will leave the field in passing situations if this structure holds up. However, it's OTAs and Sanborn could be green dot by TC, also if San Man n Murray are the two LBs on the field at all times it won't really matter.

Ah, I've only watched some of his plays. He has the ability to play the run. I've seen examples. Great athlete, but he's been a marginal player thus far.

RAS is 9.88.

On the film I watched , Murray looked like he was good at diagnosing where the ball was going on run plays .Murray simply ran right into the opponents back field and tackled the ball carrier for a loss.The guy looks super athletic he has tremendous straight line speed. If Dallas can get some good play from the nose tackle position,I look for Murray to have some tackles behind the line of scrimmage this season.

There are only one or two decent LBs available in free agency. Kyzir White being the best.

I’d be surprised if the Cowboys make a move though. As we can see, they are high on both Murray and Sanborn so, without a really good option, I imagine they let it play out.

If they are your starters I agree. Micah, Murray, Liusfau and Sanborn makes things intriguing.

I actually like Murray better, but think being a former Eberflus player will give Sanborn the edge.

I've heard people here say they feel really good about the LB room and I can't, for the life of me, understand why. Liufau looks like he could be a good player and I really like what I saw from Overshown but he's out at least half the season presumably. Outside of that? Sanborn because he knows the system? This guy?
