As the site's resident furry and with my fursona being a horse, I'm excited to watch the Kentucky Derby. Love the name Rock Your World and Essential Quality.

Medina Spirit just won the Kentucky Derby! What a race!!!!!!! What a run! Medina Spirit is quick!!!!!!

So how does the derby work? How many races are there? How long is it? Like, all you hear about is the winning race. There has to be more to it than that.

There are several races on the day with the last race being the big one. After which, the Preakness Stakes in Maryland takes place and then the Belmont. The winner of all three wins the Triple Crown.

Meanwhile at the Kentucky Derby, Rodgers looks like he's there to arrest Brady!

The Kentucky Derby and the Triple Crown used to be huge deals. Now who really cares?

Sort of like the Indianapolis 500.

OR the NHL.

Tennis is not all that anymore and NASCAR is sliding.

I care about the Kentucky Derby and the Triple Crown. Mainly cuz I love horses and my main fursona is a horse.

Good for you
Millions DO care about it.
In fact, it was the most-watched show on NBC since the NFC Divisional Playoff.

I knew some people that went up there for this one. I've never been but it for sure is a bucket list thing.

The NBA is sliding too if we want to slice up everything

But the Kentucky Derby ratings were great
15 million viewers

Which is about a QUARTER of the viewers of 20 years ago.
Think on that.
