Im a firm believer in Urban Meyer here. However, he could always say no ( although I think he has every reason to say yes)

In the end I just want a coach that could be successful here. I think that could be Stefanski

My only issue with Urban Meyer, and the fact that I don't see him wanting to come to the NFL, is the health concern.

I've also seen his name attached to USC, not sure how much there is to that rumor.

The health issue is something to watch. My other thing with him is he doesnt stay in one place long. I would only expect him here for about 5 years. But I think he could have a Johnson like run (sans the lean years). At this point I would take that in a heartbeat. But to your point, does he even want to coach.

I dont think he would choose USC over Dallas. Winning Super Bowls puts him in the conversation amongst the great football coaches. Not just college. NC's at Florida, Ohio state, and Super Bowls in Dallas. Thats one hell of a track record of success. Also raises his earning potential post coaching significantly.

Also I a big fan of Mike Zimmer. Any quality coach from his tree would be a guy I have interest in.

Id take him as an OC if we did go after Stefanski. Kubiak is very meh as a HC

That is part of it, but it is obvious they are using a lot of Kubiak's scheme in the run and pass game.

Here in L.A., Meyer is the choice for USC. Sources say that Clay Helton will be out after this season. The L.A. media is making the narrative for Meyer to head the Trojan program. The top HS Football schools in the country in the L.A. area (Mater Dei, St. John Bosco, Mission Viejo, Corona Centennial, Narbonne, Serra--Gardena) will have a HUGE impact if Meyer is the USC Coach. A big chance that the L.A. HS recruits stay in SoCal. BTW, UCLA with Chip Kelly can get into the recruiting fray when the Bruins become a winning program.
