Unfortunately, this FO has been fooled to believe, along with fans here, that three consecutive 12 win seasons show this team is close to being a championship level team...and reason that MM is still employed. Wrong. I believe it will take another .500 or below season before Jerry realizes this needs to get blown up again and drastic measures taken. Drastic such as MM fired, fringe players released, assistants let go. He doesn't want to go down that minefield, not good for PR or business. But it's something that needs to be done. Rebuilding on sand never works, and they're on quick sand right now. ANY extended contracts are a waste and will make the rebuild even more difficult. This is if they are really serious about competing in the near future for a SB champ. Keep it the way it is and it will be Groundhog Day in January.
