Keyshawn's moniker is "Give me the damn ball..!!"
Drew has served the ball up to him alot and so far it's been win not lose..
..but had it been a close game..it could have been the difference in winning or losing.
We don't know what Drew said..may not know for awhile..but I'm guessing it wasn't anything incriminating..
..something like "well, they sure picked your pocket on that play.."
or something similar and Keyshawn took it to mean he did something wrong.
The fact is, Key was double-covered on that play and I don't think he really expected Drew to throw it and it surprised Key and he just didn't have a chance to get it and pull it in before he was stripped.
Drew would have liked to have it back I'm sure, both the pass and whatever was said on the sidelines.
But there are times Keyshawn just goes too far with stuff he pulls. Last year I remember him blatantly kicking some opponent guy down on the ground after he recovered a fumble/interception and drawing a 15 yd. penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.
And there are other things he's done since arriving here that makes me mistrust him.
As long as BP is here, I suppose we have to put up with his thug attitiude. But I sure wish we had another big, PR we could play some and sit Key when he pulls this stuff. To me, he's a tinderbox waiting to ignite on this team and cause divisions within it.
Teams know if they can get under his skin, he can be intimidated and lose his composure. Not a good thing for a guy that's supossed to be a LEADER on this team.
And Key sure targeted the wrong guy to vent to in Bledsoe. The guy can easy start looking to others to throw to. Peerless Price at the head of the list if Key goes too far again.
Nobody is bigger than the team. Key has forgotten that. I suspect if that happens again or anthing like it..he'll sit on the bench for several games.
Not even BP will not allow Key to divide this team or be a sizable distraction.
The more successful this team is, the less tolerence BP will have for thug behavior. He's said that many, many times in the past and made significant roster moves to back it up.
Key better watch it. When his mouth out-talks his talent..he's going to have a big surprise. Key needs to remember who is throw him those balls.
Perhaps he'd prefer Henson or Romo at this point...?
What an idiot..Key. keep it up.

I respect your take but think it's over-reactive, particuarly the 'thug behavior' aspect.
Key is very volatile, always was - always will be, Yes, it is incumbent upon him to try and control his emotions. But his fiery nature is a very positive ingredient in the team mix, I think. We NEED it.
IMO Bledsoe, was flat out wrong to say anything at all critical to a ten year vet who hangs his pride on winning, and saying it immediately after that type of play, when the receiver is already abashed. It's humiilating enough to lose the ball in that fashion, on national tv, in front of the home town fans. No one needs the added value of a 'learn to hold on" in full view of the cameras.
A rook or young player, go ahead, and make him aware of what you think he did wrong. But Keyshawn Johnson has earned the privilege of not being talked down to.
You don't condescend to a peer. Had I been Key, I'd have told him to go F himself in no uncertain terms. You don't talk down to and shame a fellow vet publically. And if you feel you have to make a point, you wait til he cools down, and do it privately.
Bledsoe has always had this "I'm never at fault" problen,. THAT is what I hope does not rear its ugly head here, because it colored his previous tenures in NE and Buffalo. He is patronizing by by nature and that's why his particular brand of leadership has never been very successful.
With as good a game as Drew had today, with the score so far ahead, why did Bledsoe even consider making a remark..especially since the play itself was not clear cut on Johnson?
Go be the man with Copper or Rector. That won't fly with Johnson, who has to respect the QB he works with, and expects respect in return.
As Troy said, no big deal, and it will blow over, but it was Drew who was wrong, not Key. Bledsoe is the one who needs the attitude adjustment, if anyone does. My guess is Drew has already apologized.
There is no thuggery here that I see..just a dynamic and charismatic player refusing to be treated like a rookie.
