I don't agree i think we have major issues with our trainers and doctors on this team or we get a lot of lies about injuries.

I think it's Cowboys pr, they put out a "dont worry its not that serious" message but eventually it come out worse the previously communicated. I dont know if its wishful thinking or its calculated.

lol

As if you get to decide who takes who seriously on this board.

Good one, coult.

:D

I DO!!!!! Take it or leave it. It's laughable that "SOME" on here, won't mention names, defend every aspect of the team. Even the mediocrity of it......Are we as good as let' say, Denver or Seattle? NO...Are we as bad as let say, Jacksonville or Tampa Bay, NO. But to be ok with being anywhere in the middle of the list is crazy. "SOME", I won't mention any names, are good with because the are either senile, don't care, or just like to argue!!!

It is what it is at this point. His production over the past few seasons make human easy target for ridicule given his contract. He has either been injured or playing at 65-75% due to a fear of re-injuring his hamstrings. He clearly has not been the same explosive player who emerged in 2009. He is a good WR. I think he works hard and truly cares but it is time to move on. Give him the Doug Free ultimatum this summer and let him decide his own fate.

I don't fault Miles for accepting a lucrative contract. Who among us wouldn't? That is not his fault. To be honest, I don't think being born with tight hammies is his fault either. I'm not sure what can be done for his situation, but I don't doubt for one second that he is in too much pain to play the WR position or he would be out there. It sucks that he has this issue, but if he can't play, he can't play. No reason to be mad at him.

Say what you will about Miles but he doesnt' have a reputation of being selfish enough to put him over the team. But if he's not healthy to play he's not healthy enough to play. I can't say the same about Keyshawn.

You don't.

Knowing your posting history.. i would say you should be the last one to talk about taking people seriously.

I defend Miles Austin because i know when he's on the field we are a better team than when he's not.. and because i know he played hurt all last year and i have yet to see or read about him having a poor attitude or not working as hard as he can to play as much as possible.

JMO.. carry on. :)

PS.. no one is as good as Denver.

I'm actually glad players like Austin and Ratliff are not suitting up. They're both progress stoppers who's best days are behind them. Let the development of Terrence Williams and other young players begin. I like many here am sick and tired of these players being constantly hurt. I can't wait to move past them and they become somebody else's problem.

Are there really people on this board that have a problem with this? Miles will have plenty of time to rest his hammies in another city next year.

Keyshawn produced pretty well while here. Not a superstar no but then neither has Austin since he got his big deal. And you could never fault Keyshawns effort. He played injured or healthy.

Agreed. And Keyshawn's bread and butter was running routes across the middle where he took a LOT of contact and made difficult catches in traffic. His time with the Cowboys was also towards the end of his career but he was a solid WR for the Boys.

Miles Austin is a former pro bowler and he has had some pretty good seasons for being the #3 receiver (behind Witten and Dez). I have to SMH at the ingratitude from so called fans. Once upon a time, Miles was best play making receiver on this team. He's worked his arse off from an undrafted FA, worked his way into a starter, made pro bowl, multiple 1,000 yd seasons, played hurt and he is constantly belittled.

I really do not get it. Cowboys and players like Miles will always have my support.

Keyshawn was mediocre to worse with the Cowboys. Comparing him to Miles is an embarrassment. Both as a player and a person. Miles works his butt off and helped his team contend. Keyshawn was a garbage starter, with garbage production and he talked a much bigger game than he played. His sense of entitlement when he did nothing to back it up was disgusting. I cannot stand him as an analyst for this reason. He talks down about current and former players, his only insight is based on his inflated sense of self. And he is no friend to the Cowboys.

He was a friend of Bill, plain and simple, and he never embraced being a Cowboy.

No one will debate that. The problem is Jerry paid him to be more than a #3 and he has been consistently hurt since then and usually (not always) disappoints when he finally does make it onto the field.

He's played hurt, what more do u expect. Unless u believe he's not really injured. I just can't believe Cowboys fans are eating up Cris Carter's and Keyshawn Johnson's drivel. Both guys are notorious Cowboys haters.

I side with the Cowboy over these morons.
