kffl- interested in Fins Campbell?

I mentioned the Dolphins as a potential candidate for a trade a few days back. They are deep at WR and with Saban implementing more 3-4 looks, I'm sure he'd love some 3-4 backers and ends (Coleman,Shanle).

They are going to have a numbers crunch and somebody that is somewhat talented will get cut. Campbell, Stomper, Fred Gibson, Arishomodu (sp?) from Auburn.

The Dallas Cowboys are said to have contacted the Dolphins about the possibility of trading for a wideout, possibly WR Kelly Campbell.

We're said to have contacted them, possibly about Kelly Campbell. There was a recent article someplace about the Dolphins' depth at WR. It's well known we're shopping around. This is probably just some reporter putting 2+2 together and getting 4.5.

Until I read something from a team source, it's just speculation.

I like Kelly. My friends dad was a strength and conditioning coach at GT when Kelly went there. I met him after they played Virginia his senior year. He gave me some gloves, wrist bands, and his game towel ( i was like 14-ish at the time).

I still wear the game towel in my semi-pro league. :)

It's only been one preseason game but he had better show more as a return man than he did in the first game or he will be looking for a job.

His first KO return against Seattle was past the 30 yard line... I realize that's just pre-season but sheesh don't cut him yet... From what little I've seen, I've seen nothing negative. In fact I think he could do the ST a lot of good. He was compared to Dante Hall in the past as far as ability.

Isn't that the same guy who returned a kickoff for the Vikes and then proceeded to earn a 15 yard Taunting penalty?

Skyler Green is toast. Forget the 4th, irrelevant. It's the reverse of the Parcells theory that everyone is supposed to have an equal change regardless of draft position.Otherwise Henson wouldn't be treated like an unwelcome relative still visiting for the holidays the second week of January.

The Cowboy want a punt returner and a kick returner preferable not named Terrance Newman or Patrick Crayton who can contribute in the 4 wide set if TG or TO is down w/ injury.

There will be a good one cut on the last cut down if we are patient.

He returned 3 punts for an 11.7 average. 11.7 would have ranked him #3 last season
