Season might start with Moore #2, but by mid-season if there is a roster crunch at a position, and Rush has kept progressing, Moore's spot might be in danger.

Know what. I would keep Rush and let Moore go. Take a small chance on Rush's potential. Moore has nothing. If Prescott goes down what good would Moore be...he doesn't even have the toughness in the pocket that a QB needs.

So you have peaked my interest about Blackie Sherrod and I went looking for examples of his work; I even googled Blackie Sherrod Scattershooting, but couldn't find anything other than a book he apparently published. Do you have a link to a sample of his work?

Yeah, there's almost no chance he ends up QB2. The real question is whether or not they think enough of him to carry 3 QBs. Given that they kept Sanchez around last year even after Dak was blowing up, it's not exactly a high bar.

That's my thinking to. The point I made was regardless of who backups Dak, if he get's hurt, chances are we are toast. So while we would probably still lose with Rush, I suspect we would feel a whole helluva lot better about it. Moore seems to be a lost cause in my view. But like I said in the op, I'll reserve my final judgement until at least preseason is over. But I honestly cannot see how he could possibly change my mind at this point.

It might be worth keeping Rush over Moore just because Dallas can get him on the PS, can always bring him up later if need be. I don't think Rush makes it to PS as long as he continues to play well. That way we can still carry 3 QB's.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Moore would be eligible.
