Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin shouldered the blame on Wednesday for his team's 51-48 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Kiffin told reporters that fans shouldn't blame quarterback Tony Romo, who threw for 506 yards and five touchdowns but had an inopportune interception late in the fourth quarter to setup Denver's game-winning field goal.

"You put that one on me," Kiffin said.

And we should but I also think he and Rod will get this defense playing quality ball. It is easy to give up when things are going bad but I think they will get this group playing much better ball as they continue to learn.

I think some are giving up way too quickly on this defense and the staff. These men have been around this game and the NFL to know what is going they are not stupid and know a lot more about this game and done more in this game than any of you could ever dream of doing. Before you write them off give them the chance.

It was ultimately the defenses fault but with the game on the line our QB could've gone down the field and won it for us. Instead he lived up to his perception.

It was one of the best QB performances of all time and it ended with Romo and all of his haters having something to point at and say I told you so.

I love Tony but I had to laugh at Kiffin defending Romo and saying he was a Hall of Famer. He has work to do and needs people to stop throwing this out there such as Kiffen who feels the need to say something like this after being with the team for a few months.
