I know a lot of people just want to see results but it is nice to hear him acknowledge that the loss was on him.

Regardless, I think we have too many good players and coaches on the defensive side of the ball to just throw the towel in on these guys already. We have some obvious young talent, quality veterans, and proven coaches. Yes, the last 2 games have been poor on defense overall, but I think these guys can turn it around.

Have some faith in the old man!

I am interested to see how Kiffen and Marinelli respond to the beatdown the past two games. Teams often had their way with Kiffen's defenses at USC, so one has to hope that it was the players at USC that were the problem and not the scheme.

Considering he slipped out and let Romo take the media heat after the game, its about time.

He is a relic,Chip Kelly might put up another 700+ on him.

Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin shouldered the blame on Wednesday for his team's 51-48 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Kiffin told reporters that fans shouldn't blame quarterback Tony Romo, who threw for 506 yards and five touchdowns but had an inopportune interception late in the fourth quarter to setup Denver's game-winning field goal.

"You put that one on me," Kiffin said.

Where was Garrett's comment taking responsibility?

Oh thats right, he threw Romo under the bus.

See, again, you should probably listen to what JG actually had to say about Tony's performance on Sunday, rather than jumping to an unsupported conclusion based off of a thread title and, maybe, a partial quote. Just a thought.

I'd agree with you.

But Mr. Kiffin..

you have not had much to work with.

Same thing Ryan had last year..

..no pass rush, no coverage and no wins.

You'll get it fixed and next year we'll see what happens.

This is obviously a rebuilding year.

Awesome. Can you maybe point out the part where there's a bus then, for me?

“I thought Tony played a fantastic football game,” said head coach Jason Garrett. “You know, we were up and down the field, he made critical throws throughout the game all over the field. Unfortunately, in that particular case, they made the play and that was the difference-making play.”

Ahhh I see now, it's not your hearing that's the issue, it's more of a comprehension thing.

Got it.

I would respond in kind, but personal insults are against the rules...............you guess you forgot that.

Not an insult. Just an observation. If you honestly heard or read the comments in question that came from Garrett, I have no idea how you could conclude that he "threw Romo under the bus".

More like your opinion and questioning somebody's comprehension ability sounds like a personal insult to me.
