I was wondering, when there are 8 or 9 players crowding the line of scrimmage and Tony goes Kill,Kill,Kill and me, my son sitting next to me, the entire opposing defense and everybody here knows they are going to run a draw or fake slant draw, is that on Romo or Garrett??? Are those the only two audibles in the playbook??? Can they be that stupid???? i mean all season long and nobody in the Cowboys organization realizes this??? Anybody else have a clue as to why they constantly do this??? just once i would like to see a playaction and go deep........:bang2:

I think when Romo says Kill Kill Kill, he actually is telling his team be it Barber or Choice that they are going to get killed killed killed...

This has been brought up before, but to the fan watching the game, its seems obvious that they only run one or 2 plays, or basically switch out of a pass to a run....Can it be so obvious, so basic, so dumb???? Like you stated, are they that stupid???:bang2:

there are times i remember them using the kill signal only to max protect and have say 2 patterns being run instead of 3 or 4 (TE and RB or FB stay in to help pass protect)

so play action vs. the blitz? :bang2: keep your day job homie...

I honestly didn't even know he said KILL KILL KILL except seeing it on these forums.

When Romo yells out "kill, kill, kill" it means he is switching from the primary play called in the huddle to second play that was called in the huddle. It doesn't always have to be a switch to a draw play. It could switch from a run to a pass or some other type of run. Now Garrett may have a tendency to have moredraws called as the secondary play, but he is not limited to it. Dallas was using the kill call when Parcells was head coach and Bledsoe was the QB.

And I went up there, I said, "Shrink, I want to kill. I mean, I wanna, I
wanna kill. Kill. I wanna, I wanna see, I wanna see blood and gore and
guts and veins in my teeth. Eat dead burnt bodies. I mean kill, Kill,
KILL, KILL." And I started jumpin up and down yelling, "KILL, KILL," and
he started jumpin up and down with me and we was both jumping up and down
yelling, "KILL, KILL." And the sargent came over, pinned a medal on me,
sent me down the hall, said, "You're our boy."

I always assumed he was just attempting to channel the ghost of Dick Butkus?

Dick Butkis already has the worst name in the history of recorded names. Now he has you prematurely killing him?

De'Cody Fagg and/or Simeon Rice are running a close 2 & 3 then.

:laugh2: Great stuff. What team was the other guy playing with?

Honestly though, I HAVE seen it where after he audibled to that he DID pass the ball.

But, you are right, normally it is a run.

Have you rehabilitated yourself?

I thought of that song too when I saw the title of this thread.

Under Parcells (or more precisely, under Sparano) when the kill audible was made it wasn't exclusively to run plays. Under Garrett it is. It's frustratingly moronic.

:hammer:

That call is on Romo, he has a few plays in different situations he could call based on what he reads, He needs to do a better job of audibles at the LOS, But that comes with experience . As far as Garrett goes, he has a hard enough time calling plays without the anticipation of a blitz coming.

Yeah, they need to address this.

Otherwise, poor Barber will probably have a melt down one day and try to audible the offense out of the audible, lol.
