4. Dallas Cowboys - DeForest Buckner DE Oregon
It's rare to find a team picking No. 4 overall that can genuinely say "We're in win-now mode." But the Cowboys get a healthy Tony Romo back and that's a fair statement. If Greg Hardy isn't back, Buckner is a great fit. You get a 6-foot-7, 290-pound defensive end who can put a tackle on skates right into his own quarterback. The No. 1 thing you love about Buckner: major motor. He plays hard. He could have been taken relatively early last year, but came back and put an exclamation point on it.

Dude, no. Just no.

I also don't see any way the Titans don't take Tunsil unless he completely flames out between now and the draft.

Mariota is the future there and he got killed this year. That's basically a no brainer.

I'd prefer a QB, but don't want them to force it. I'm pretty comfortable with anyone at #4 (other than JJ is pulling the trigger), this team can use help everywhere.

Awful.

Buckner is probably a left end in this defense, not a replacement as a pass rusher if Hardy is dumped.

Kiper reminds me a bit of JG. They're both pretty smart guys, but they'll often go against the most logical conclusion after outwitting themselves. In efforts to separate themselves from their peers, they don't realize that sometimes the path of least resistance is actually the right play.

Todd is better anyways:D

In all honesty these guys will do dozens of these mocks between now and the draft. They can't just put out the same players to the same team over and over. This is probably just the results of doing different scenario regardless of how wrong he is.

I would puke.....

Obviously Kiper slept through the 2015 National Championship game as Ohio State pushed him all over the field.

I don't think he ever has a good feel for what the Cowboys will do.

Mel has basically admitted that his early mock drafts are just throwing stuff against the wall. He continually changes them because it keeps the "mock draft public" engaged.

Notice how we can never get enough of these mock drafts? There's something that compels us to look and read and discussion.

The next time he offers a mock draft, he'll likely have us taking Ezekiel Elliott.
