Me either. Get a real LT if you're gonna get one. Also, there's too many good players, at other positions, left on the board to try and convert a player (project) in the 1st round.

Legette and Rosengarden have no business even sniffing around the first round. JPJ should be the pick if he is somehow there.

Would have to think if it played out like this Mims would be the pick. Personally, I would trade down to the end of the 1st and pick up a 3rd if possible. 4 OL are available Mims, Guyton, Barton, JPJ.
THANK YOU!;!

Fautanau moving out of range. That is unfortunate. One of the safest picks in the draft.

Yeah he was way off with Tyler Smith.

How's Joel? Do you miss him? You got a flashlight and a couple of shovels?
You are a terrible evil man for speaking of the dead like that.

But yes, I do miss him. I miss calling the .50 a minute number to hear him talk because that was the only way you got information.

I also called Kiper's little number that he promoted with his Blue Book.

That stated, you never saw Blessed Joel disgrace himself by not producing draft guides. He produced content until the day he decided to leave this mortal plane.

Kiper on the other hand? How long has he been semi-retired again?

It is quite bizarre how those "safe" picks end up going long before we choose. Every year.

Trade down to get a 3rd (I wonder if you could go down even further and get more ammo) and take a LT and then trade up in the 2nd to get Powers-Johnson.

Since I now believe at some point they will extend Prescott, i think they will take an OL at 24.

If the 1st round occurred today this is exactly how it would unfold.

-

1. Chicago Bears (Carolina) - Caleb Williams QB USC
2. Washington Maroonskins - Jayden Daniels QB LSU
3. New England Patriots - Drake Maye QB North Carolina
4. Arizona Cardinals - Marvin Harrison Jr. WR Ohio St.
5. Los Angeles Chargers - Malik Nabers WR LSU
6. New York Giants - Rome Odunze WR Washington
7. Tennessee Titans - Joe Alt T Notre Dame
8. Atlanta Falcons - Dallas Turner OLB Alabama
9. Chicago Bears - Jared Verse DE Florida St.
10. New York Jets - Brock Bowers TE Georgia
11. Minnesota Vikings - J.J. McCarthy QB Michigan
12. Denver Broncos - Bo Nix QB Oregon
13. Las Vegas Raiders - JC Latham T Alabama
14. New Orleans Saints - Olu Fashanu T Penn St.
15. Indianapolis Colts - Quinyon Mitchell CB Toledo
16. Seattle Seahawks - Troy Fautanu G Washington
17. Jacksonville Jaguars - Terrion Arnold CB Alabama
18. Cincinnati Bengals - Taliese Fuaga T Oregon St.
19. Los Angeles Rams - Byron Murphy II DT Texas
20. Pittsburgh Steelers - Brian Thomas Jr. WR LSU
21. Miami Dolphins- Graham Barton C/G Duke
22. Philadelphia Eagles - Nate Wiggins CB Clemson
23. Minnesota Vikings (Clev thru Hou) - Cooper DeJean CB Iowa

24. Dallas Cowboys - Tyler Guyton T Oklahoma
How will the Cowboys replace long-time left tackle Tyron Smith, who just signed with the Jets? Based on their lack of moves over the past 10 days, they might be thinking this pick is their best bet. And looking at my rankings, they're probably right. Guyton, Amarius Mims (Georgia), Jordan Morgan (Arizona) and Roger Rosengarten (Washington) could all be in play in the final 10 picks of Round 1. Of those four, only Morgan played the majority of his snaps at left tackle, but I think Guyton has the highest ceiling. He started just 14 games in college; he has outstanding physical tools to mold.

Dallas also has a hole to fill at center, as Tyler Biadasz left in free agency. Jackson Powers-Johnson (Oregon) could be in play.

25. Green Bay Packers - Laiatu Latu OLB UCLA
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Xavier Worthy WR Texas
27. Arizona Cardinals (Houston) - Chop Robinson OLB Penn St.
28. Buffalo Bills - T.J. Tampa CB Iowa St.
29. Detroit Lions - Xavier Legette WR South Carolina
30. Baltimore Ravens - Amarius Mims T Georgia
31. San Francisco 49ers - Roger Rosengarten T Washington
32. Kansas City Chiefs - Adonai Mitchell WR Texas

Huge mistake if the Cowboys go this route. Guyton is limited and has flaws. I would trade down into the upper 2nd round and pick up an extra 3rd round pick. Texas OT Christian Jones is better than Guyton, and Christian Jones will be available in the 3rd round.

We were lucky last year to get Mazi, a plug and play immediate starter, at least according to McClay.

Jerry seldom trades down, if memory serves.

De ja Vu all over again…..”I hate Tyler Smith”…..
I don’t think we can really compare Tyler coming in as to if we take Guyton or Mims.

Tyler came in with a HOF LT, Pro Bowl Center, HOF RG and a solid RT to learn from.

With a guy like Guyton, it’s going to be tough to transition of Smith is limited at LT and Steele had a down year. Much different than learning from Tyron.

I don’t think people dislike Guyton or Mims. I think it’s more they dislike a player with limited snaps and played RT, being drafted, shifting to LT and joining a revamped line.

I much rather go Barton or JPJ if it’s there and draft Brooks round 2.

I feel our best way to secure line is move Smith to LT, start Bass and draft JPJ/Barton.

Nothing is a sure thing in the NFL. But we cannot afford to move tackle from RT to LT and they flop
I agree. You get one of the top two centers, both considered to be long-term starters over players you hope can overcome their flaws to be long-term starters. Take the sure thing if it's a good thing.

Love him but yes, we get to watch him go in front of us while we just sit there and do nothing.

A war room round of applause for whoever we pick though.

Barton was gone at 21.
